I booked a last minute trip to the Bay and landed on this hotel. We were barely in the room, just wanted a descent place to crash for a night. Within 2 hours of checking out of this room I realized I had left a top hanging up in the closet and some cosmetics on the desk. I called them immediately to let them know what I had left behind just a couple hours earlier. I was told someone would contact me regarding my things. 3 days later still no returned call so I called them again. Provided my name the date of check out and explained what had happened. I was asked to provide full detail of what the clothing looked like and was told once again that someone would return my call. 3 hours later I received a call that my items were not located in the room, when I know damn well they were indeed left behind. Now mind you, I am responsible for leaving my items behind but, they have no right keep my personal belongings. If I had stayed there over a lengthy period of time, would someone have broken into my room and taken other items? IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! NO RATING, THIS PLACE SUCKS!

I booked in as a late minute trip meant little local availability. As a SPG loyalist this hotel is a shame on the group. The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel is a outdated dilapidated over priced place to stay. My first room over looked the freeway and the roar of traffic was defining clearly showing poor sound proofing and insulation. My second room was in desperate need of repair - the AC rattles away , there was no hot water in the shower and the headboard is word away with the leather in pieces. At $269 a night this is very expensive - I would recommend the 4 points by Sheraton over this (having stayed there)

The hotel was clean with every eminity you would need. I would have given our stay a five if the bed had been a bit softer and the sound of the freeway going all night long. I'm sure they've had plenty of people complain about the noise. It would have been nice to have advance notice of the noise problem.

My car got broken into the first night of our stay. Obviously can't blame the hotel for that..... what I DO blame them for is having knowledge of this ongoing problem and doing nothing about it. I heard from desk staff that this kind of thing "happens all the time" and then from management that "it doesn't happen ALL the time but does happen." Everyone on staff here has this whole "oh well" attitude. Didn't offer any help or anything. Just got the general feeling that no one really cared. Charge a few bucks more and get some security!!!!
Our room was ok but not great! Very noisy and the A/C didn't work.

I stay in a lot of hotels and after a while, they all start to look the same. The thing that differentiates hotels the most to me is the staff. On this trip, I didn't use any amenities (pool, gym, restaurant) so I can only judge by the room and the staff. The room was average. Nothing special. It did seem a bit aged but that's okay. But the staff checking me in was very friendly and seemed genuinely so.
