Great Hotel
ReddiTugoon 16/06/2017 13:34First visit to Ecuador. Attended a wedding and decided to stay at Sheraton for a full week to explore the Quito area. Well appointed rooms. Everything new and fresh. Large safe in closet. Magnificent European style breakfast included. Friendly staff. Hired a local driver and guide Jose Cabrera (joecab58@outlook.com ) . Jose is fluent in English, knowledgeable and most courteous.
This Sheraton is located in the mid-city area next to the Soccer Stadium, a large Mall, many quality restaurants and the Mexican Embassy. Be sure to carry a city map and Hotel info as your travel around in Quito. The city generally safe, congested and most unique. Staying here provided our party a quiet and refreshing home plate.

The Heaven after 2 Rigourous Journeys

The bed was welcoming and the room was spacious.Had to be up at 4:00 am for next flight.Kept hearing the toilet flushing in cavity wall.Second stay I found the quilt too hot and had disturbed sleep. The cafe breakfast was excellent and even opened at 5:00am.Very pleased with services and staff.
So glad we decided to stay here!
grammiewagson 06/06/2017 13:09After a long flight and a drive in the chilly, foggy weather, the Sheraton was a warm, inviting place to stay. Our Galapagos cruise company had recommended a small boutique hotel, but we decided to use our Starwood points for the Sheraton. We were so pleased. Absolutely everything was topnotch, including the lovely food and drink available right on the tenth floor. The weather in Quito was not great and we didn't know the city, so after touring all day, we just relaxed with hot and cold appetizers right near our room.
The staff is friendly and helpful. I heard from the concierge before we left and had her email. The room was modern and pretty with a very comfortable bed. We had forgotten to make arrangements for transportation from the airport and a quick email took care of that. For our one free day, staff found us a terrific English speaking guide to take us all around Quito. He was delightful.
Super Friendly Staff and Great Rooms
LADuckFanon 01/06/2017 19:06We were comfortable knowing that the Sheraton was going to offer a nice room and this truly exceeded expectations. We were able to get a club room which I highly recommend for the breakfast and this one offered small extra's like wine and beer in the evening which was greatly appreciated. But above all the service at this hotel was truly 5 star level. For instance, as we were hailing a taxi to head to the Teleferico, the door man asked us to wait. He made a call and confirmed that the rides were closed and offered help with alternative arrangements. All because we asked for a cab. The staff makes it easy to be in a foreign country and was always asking how they can help. Nicely done
