This hotel is average at best. Check in was slow and there was no recognition of my Marriott Lifetime Platinum status. When I inquired about the Concierge room on the Club level, and mentioned that I was a LTP member, I was informed that it was closed and that the whole floor was under remodel. I was, however, offered 2 breakfast vouchers which could be used in the on premise restaurant. After taking a quick look around and heading up to my room, it quickly became apparent why they were remodeling this hotel. The restaurant and bar areas were old, dark and empty. The carpeting in the halls was definitely in need of replacement. The room was good size with 2 queen beds, however, too soft for my liking. As others have mentioned, there was no refrigerator or microwave and the TV was on the small side. The bathroom was TINY and very difficult to maneuver around in (and I’m not very big). The toilet was wedged in behind the tub and door. Amenities included soap, shampoo and conditioner. Also, take note that the water is HIGHLY softened.....allow 10 extra minutes to get all the soap/shampoo rinsed off. Included in the room was a desk area with a couple of electrical outlets. That evening I went down to the bar to have a glass of wine....big mistake. There were 2 chardonnays that I had never heard of at $12 per glass with a TINY pour. I would definitely recommend staying away from the bar. If you want to get a bite to eat in a place with a GREAT wine list.....look no further then Cravings Wine Bar and Grill, which is located 1 block away in front of the hotel. In the morning I gave the restaurant buffet a shot and it was pretty good. Additionally, the waitstaff was efficient and cordial. Overall, my stay was not bad, but I think I’ll look for something better next time, even if I have to stay in St. Paul.

Clean, Quiet and Welcoming Accomidations

I just stayed here with my 2 friends for a wedding last weekend. The hotel was fantastic. We were on the executive level floor. The food in the lounge was outstanding. Alot of time we ate dinner in there as well. They were very accomidating and added a 3rd rollaway bed to the room free of charge. It was a nice comfy bed (not a twin). The hotel has a shuttle to surrounding shops in a 5 mile radius. This was helpful for us since we needed to get a few last minute items at target. The redrock restraunt has excellent food too.

We stayed here one night- the bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice and clean- even had a bathrobe to wear!!! The shower was great too with very nice soft water. Had little extras in the room that most hotel rooms don't have. A wedding reception was taking place there too, but it wasn't as noisy as we thought it would be. The doors are loud though when they are closed.

Great hotel with exception of a few things including: the front desk team member who checked us in (no explanation of location of room, no enthusiasm etc); accessibility of the bathtub in our room; paper thin walls. Great food/ breaskfast meal. Room clean.

Nice Hotel noisy garbage truck

Came here for a business meeting. Close to Airport. Hotel was nice, my room seemed dated. My room, 239 overlooked the dumpster area. Not a big deal until the garbage truck came at 5am on Wednesday and Friday to empty the dumpster! The entrance door to my room didn’t fit right I the opening so you had to make sure that it actually closed and locked when leaving the room. The front desk staff was very nice. The two ladies that took care of our meeting space on Thursday were exceptional. Thank you ladies! If you do t have a car there is not much that’s within walking distance of the hotel.
