This Sheraton property is the older of the two and away from the Pagoda square as well as the Bell Tower.
It has a fantastic swimming pool, nice restaurant for breakfast and a lovely lounge cum bar with live music on Sunday night.
Our stay was comfortable here and the only area where I would expect them to improve is the response on intercom - I tried both in late evening as well as early morning on Guest Relations but there wasn't any response.

Staying here for 4 nights and the expectation is of course high on a Sheraton hotel. I would say Sheraton Xi'an Hotel delivers. The service is very good, staff is kind and polite, quite good english. Breakfast is very good, several selections. The fitness facilities and swimming pool are also up to standards.
The room is clean and tidy. There's an ATM machine available in the lobby.
All in all, most things are good.
The high speed internet connections was a disappointment, quite unreliable (both cable and wifi).

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a tour.
The amenities and standard of the hotel was first class.
Breakfast choice was extensive and excellent.
The rooms are clean and well presented.
Staff spoke some English and were attentive and helpful.

I stayed 2 nights in Sheraton as part of a China tour. The staff were very polite and helpful. Pablo at the front office is an asset to this hotel as he is very fluent in English. He doesn't wait for you to approach him. He would come to you and do his best to help you. Location of the hotel was good and the breakfast at Great West restaurant had many options to choose from.
My room had all the amenities except air conditioning. The display on the wall showed 23C but the room was very warm. I had to call the front desk to get it fixed. When the technician came and checked the unit on the ceiling, it has been disconnected!!! He fixed it for me and then only I had the 5 star standards.
When I was about to write this review, I saw PeteM from the United Kingdom had the same issue in January 2017. So, if you are booking, make sure you ask for a room with air conditioning. This is something the management need to address.

The hotel is so sweet and staff kindly .we couple for travel to xian and choose Sheraton as our first stay . very beautiful decorate and delicious food.professional operator can answer problem on time. and concierge hopful and ready provide service at any time.
