I usually don't book a 3 stars hotel, but something made me do it this time and I was not sorry even a bit. The place is a beatiful old mension, yet the room is modern and comfortable. And the views to the old city and the Alhambra is to die for. You could not rwach it by car but they have a good and efficient parking service. Highly highly recommended!

This hotel is cool and stylish with nice touches like ice tea and cake on arrival and free wine in the room. It is in an absolutely great location. We had a room with a view of the Alhambra. What more could you ask for ?

This hotel is outstanding! Just walking in the front entrance is an experience with a beautiful inner courtyard and a sense of old world charm. The front desk service was timely and very professional. The room itself was huge and had a wonderful view of the Alhambra. It was hard to close the curtains at night with the lit up view of the palace!! The only complaint that we had was that the bathroom entrance door scraped along the floor and made an awful sound..I am sure this is just a matter of adjusting the door..
Would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience!

Cons:
Dark, decrepit bathrooms with an oversized (and not so functional) washbasin
Inacessible location during Semana Santa evenings (need to walk at least 10 mins to the hotel)

We stayed for four nights in October 2017. The hotel is situated on a busy cobbled street. It is an old building that has been modernised but still retains its charm. You enter through an old wooden door and then into reception/lobby which is gorgeous, retaining its old charm. The receptionist was very helpful, providing a map and info on where to visit, suggestions on where to eat, how to get to the Alhambra etc. We were in a superior room on the first floor with a view of the Alhambra. It is worth paying a little more for a better room. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed comfortable, no noise issues even though we looked out onto a busy street, we had four good nights sleep with no issues. The bathroom is modern, clean and well maintained. There was also a coffee machine.The only very small issue was that the fridge was in the wardrobe which reduced storage space and made the wardrobe very warm. The air conditioning worked well. All in all this hotel is one of the nicest we have stayed in. The location is excellent, 10 minutes from the centre and all amenities. We would stay here again and would unreservedly recommend. It provides fantastic value for money.
