Could not stay at our preferred motel in Thames, so paid $250 per night for 3 of us to stay here in an old, dated "2 bedroom" unit. The exterior of the motel presents reasonably well and I wonder if they have newer units at the other side of the property. Our unit was an old concrete block unit which needs a major upgrade. The kitchen was reasonable, bathroom and bedrooms very basic but clean. Plenty of towels but only one small cake of soap. When we arrived the smoke detector was beeping indicating the battery was flat - housekeepers would have heard this the morning before we arrived. Light bulbs above 2 of the beds were not going - we removed them and smoke detector and left them with a note requesting that they replace when our room was serviced - this did not happen. Right behind my head in the queen bed (no headboard) was a 4-point socket which was coming away from the wall, with the inside exposed - very unsafe. The power box was on a wall hidden by a small curtain. I would be very surprised if this property has a current warrant of fitness, and if it has I would be questioning the authority that signed it off. The motel is on the main road into Thames which is extremely busy and noisy - our unit was very close to the road with no soundproofing, so we didn't sleep well. A disappointing stay....

My husband and I had not celebrated our wedding anniversary in a motel together since our wedding night in 2006. Our night at this motel was wonderful, private, close to town. It was a awesome stay, the room was clean and it came with a spa which was a bonus. Definitely recommend this motel to anyone who loves spas and privacy. We will return. Best stay:) big thank you to the owners:)

Nice looking motel advertising 50ch of sky. NO SKY MOVIES. when asked about why there was no sky movies a very stroppy owner advised we have done a survey of guests and no one watches sky movies!! and there is an additional cost to $350.00 per month to pay.
There was no telephone in the room to contact reception or make external calls.
I stay in many motels up and down the country and generally the staff are very pleasant. I will not be staying in this motel again.

I had to do an emergency dash up to Thames and when there had to arrange accommodation. The owners could not have been more helpful getting me settled in and helping even more a couple of days later when my family member got out of the Hospital. What was initially a tense family situation was eased by the owners kindness and assistance. Well done team.

We stayed here recently for a work trip. We were greeted by the managers who were both very friendly and chatty. They sorted is out with wifi, milk and showed us to our rooms. They made sure we knew where everything was and how it worked.
The rooms were nice and comfortable and had a spa bath, heating, and a kitchenette. The road noise was a little noisy but everything else was great!
