Pleasant surprise

We arrived there in a warm end of September. We had a five days sejour in a cosy and traditional Greek atmosphere. We liked everything, from the charming garden and terrace to the absolutely tasty food. Stelios and his family and staff are always smiling and joking, you have the feeling of a homelike place. Very clean rooms, sheets and towels were changed every two days. Very good breakfast and the best fried kalamari I have ever eaten. We tried different tavernas but finally decided to eat there for the rest of the stay. The beautiful beach is practically 10 meters away. You can walk to Potos - a very picturesque vilage - 1 km away - or to Limenaria - 2 km away. First time in Thassos but great great experience. So, if you ask, yes, we will definitely be back!

A successful and rewarding vacation

A chic, clean, modern hotel. Very close to the beach at 15 meters. Clean beach and emerald water.
I have to mention all the employees I had the pleasure to meet, Steliosz, Costas, Mario, Theodora, Elena. I did not remember the name of the chef and his wife who make an absolutely delicious food. Certainly I will recommend this hotel and others.Bravo, deserve 10 + .Features to my friend Steliosz.

Perfect holiday

Excellent hotel for this price (2 adults and kids 6 and 3
years old).Rooms are small but very clean ( everyday cleaning and changing towels every 2 days). We had HB and food is very tasty.Location of the hotel is perfect 20m of the beach 1km from Potos and 3 km from Limenaria. And stuff in this hotel is very friendly and they make your vaccation even better.Of course Mr. Stelios is perfect host and he will do everything to make your holiday unforgetable. At the end you, looking at some comments I have to say that you must be aware where you are and how much did you pay for it, and I must say that we got more then we have payed so that is why I fully recomend this hotel.

Overall pleasant experience

We visited Esperia last year in August 2016 (I forgot to review it last year). We stayed there for 10 days.

Good points: Pleasant hotel, very friendly staff and awesome - really awesome (probably the best) food we ate during our holidays. Home cooked food every day. Also the beach was very close, which is a major plus.

Now for the minor negative points. We asked for a sea-view room. I still have the email correspondence with the owner where we discussed our requirement. Unfortunately the room was a partial sea-view and when I say partial, I mean you could see a tiny speck of the sea between the branches of the many trees outside of the room if you really looked hard, depending on how the wind was blowing. Sadly this was one of the sore points of our stay.

A second negative point - the shower had no curtains, the whole bath was a mess every time we took a shower. When we asked the owner about it he said that people use to steal the shower curtains so he stopped putting them up.

Overall, not the most amazing place we stayed so far in our 20 years of visiting Greek hotels during the summer, but by far not the worst either. It was ok.

Excellent hotel, delicious food and a good location just a few meters from the beach. The personal is very nice! Rooms are clean every day. The beds are comfortable. It is a very good place for vacation.
Excellent points for :
- very good food, well cooked, different every day
- daily room cleaning
- very close to the beach (15-20 m)
- very nice and warm stuff
- very nice terraces for having breakfast/lunch/diner
So, definitely a very well place to stay.
