Went for my mom's bday with 10 people (including 4 kids aged 11-15). Really enjoyed our stay. Very old-timey and cozy, which we loved. FIreplaces in the lobby, library/bar, and game room going constantly. Fun games, an arcade for kids, indoor pool (we went in cold weather), horseback riding, hiking and a million other fun things. SOmething for everyone. Food was good too. Because it's such an old resort, some things were a little inconsistent (rooms all different sizes--we had a Jr Suite and ours was huge, but my brother's was really small despite being the same category), bathrooms are nice but tight. No water pressure at all in showers. BUT--beds comfy, staff nice, and overall we thought it was great. Grounds are gorgeous. Would love to go back again in warmer weather to take advantage of everything we missed in the cold. Would definitely recommend to families!!!

I stayed here with my husband for a short 2 night getaway. We had the place to ourselves since we came in the middle of the week so it was very peaceful and relaxing. The place was a little older but very clean. We ate dinner at the Windsor both nights and had lunch at the Tap room. We had great food at both places. The French onion soup and burgers were excellent at the Tap room. We also enjoyed some drinks at the bar in the library. The bartender, Joseph, in the library was the best. We also went clay shooting with the instructor Anthony who was great. We would definitely come back here in the future. They had a lot of activities to offer but it was just a little too cold for November. Would like to come back when the weather is warmer.

From the minute we pulled up to the Lodge and were greeted by John, I knew the weekend would be amazing!. The suite was clean, comfy and spacious. The day of the wedding, John found us in the lobby and escorted us to the ceremony sight and he took charge of the family member in the wheelchair! The food at the reception was amazing, as was the staff. Every member of the staff was friendly and took care of even the smallest request with a smile. Skytop Lodge is a beautiful property that now holds very special memories for our families.

This hotel is GRAND! You drive over a lake up a long driveway where you are welcomed to the sight of the huge stone lodge. The property has several cottages, an inn, and houses that can further customize your stay. Staff was friendly and there were a lot of activities available. I was there on a business trip, where our group used the attached conference center. Not huge (maybe 6 rooms), but very nice and updated.
While this hotel is older, the inside has been beautifully maintained and updated so that you have the best of old and new. Common areas and hotel rooms were nicely decorated and they always seemed to have coffee and snacks available in the lobby.

THis hotel is very unique. It is dated but that adds to the charm. its like an antique hotel. The staff was amazing. soooo nice. Teh activities they offer were great. They had live music at night & amazing hiking during the days. A lot of food options, from casual to fancy. The spa was great! all around great spot. very scenic. I will definitely be going back.
