Glad we are just staying one night and glad we were just here for 6 hours. The staff was nice and helpful. The problem is the room smells musty, and the door to the bathroom door is a pocket door. Neat idea except that it is horrible to shut. It is heavy and hard to get to actually close. The mold around the outside of the shower is disgusting. The lights in the room wouldn't turn on. Had to use my phone flashlight. Thank goodness it was cheap

I just wanted to have a comfortable bed and a shower. Nothing fancy. Shower looked disgusting, room had an awful door (nose itched whole time) & shabby everything. Go someplace else! Not comfortable! Tear the building down and start over! Ew!

We stayed at Kansas City Airport Sleep Inn 9-15-17 and returned 9-23-17...paid to park our car 7 days...was told we would have airport pickup upon return had to wait 45 minutes....@ 10.pm...van driver was rude....RUDE...parked outside hotel went inside ...did not even open doors to van...or help with luggage...just left us setting in the dark...I spent $180.00 with your hotel for this type of abuse...Curtis Campbell

Room was flithy. it was never cleaned during our 3 day stay. Our family stayed longer and there were chips on floor that were never vacummed away. The bathoom was moldy and there roaches in room. Hallways had powder all over that was never vacummed properly. Pool area was filled with beer tops and cigarette butts. Room smelled moldy and was loud. Our shower dripped all day loudly. Our toliet ran constantly. There was a used wash rag in shower when we got there.
Pool was outside and we had to clean before getting in. No towels outside so one of us went to get some and got scolded by manager. He then brought a few out.
Nreakfast wad not edible and appeared to be microwaved. Grosd and not worth anything.
The lady at check in was friendly. The other half of our party had a rough chevk in eith manager who was rude. They came a day late and called to warn and were told "mesded everything up".

Myself and my daughter we're stranded in Kansas City after the eclipse and I needed a cheap place to stay. I looked at 5 or 6 hotels near the airport and even though the reviews were so so for the Sleep Inn, I chose to stay there. Best choice I made. The van picked us up quickly, Jennifer at the front desk was warm and friendly, the room was fantastic (#335) and extremely clean. The hot breakfast was fantastic and delicious. The only downside was the pool needed to be skimmed but that was a minor issue. If you need a nice place to stay near the airport for a reasonable price, you'd be crazy if you didn't stay here !!!!!
