Quiet place north of Wichita
ColoradoCaton 24/10/2017 20:27I stayed here two different days, and on the second one I spent time in Wichita sightseeing. I was looking for a cheap place, with good reviews that would allow me to see Wichita without staying in the big city. Mission accomplished. The place is located on a side road, parallel to the interstate, and you have to watch out for their little turnoff sign (the size of a real estate house sign) that is in front of the fire station. I liked it bec. it was quiet; the next stop south has all the typical tourist restaurants etc. The front desk staff were very friendly, and it had a big, kind of luxury lobby. But there was no breakfast or "all day coffee". They have coffee from 6am to 10am, but sometimes they dump out the coffee by 9:30am, so be warned! There are no amenities, except bar of soap. No coffee pot, no clock, no shampoo,etc. I liked the bed and especially the new square pillows. The room and bathroom were big and had nice standard furniture. Note, the light blocking curtain is behind the cloth drapes that do not close. This may be the nicest Motel 6 I've stayed at.
Clean and cozy
Jennifer Ton 19/10/2017 03:13Nice neat and clean. Nicest motel 6. Big bathroom and looks well kept. Staff was welcoming and polite Easy on and off interstate beds were comfy- everything worked. Lots of tv channels too! It is a good layover spot for us
Quip 6 hr nap
FlyMom10on 06/09/2017 23:41We just pulled in at 2 am because we could drive any longer. Lobby is fancy and place is huge. All rooms open to the inside. We ended up with a handicapped room but it was huge and at end of the hall, totally quiet. Slept well, no problems and it was pretty clean. Good stay and will stay again while on quick trip to Colorado.
If you're staying here they are nice and clean but they do have bugs
80443111on 02/09/2017 00:20Stayed in these rooms a few times was nice but the last day my friend got bit by something and his arm swell got bit by bugs and they claim they have nothing only offered half of our money back for it arm
Pretty good for a motel 6
Rebecca B Hon 29/08/2017 04:26From the moment you enter you can tell it wasn't originally a motel 6 check in Thursday was fast and easy snack machine wasnt filled said something to desk next day someone was filling it they have a small indoor heated pool not really big enough for adults but kids will certainly enjoy it as it is a motel 6 they only offer coffee in the am but i did make suggestions to desk clerk on hiw they could help improve the experience just a small issue with not getting my room cleaned on friday but beyond that I had a wonderful stay turns out it was only 3 miles from where I needed to be so it definitely was the right choice for me when I return to the area I will stay here again
