Must be the luck of the draw

Stayed one night, three rooms booked. All were nice and clean with good beds. Breakfast was the usual fair, good enough to keep starvation at bay and get on down the road. I’d book here again, good price too.
Somewhat Below Average

This was not the hotel we had originally booked. Candlewood Suites sent us to the Sleep Inn & Suites FREE OF CHARGE since they had overbooked their hotel. With that said, I can't complain too much about a free room. However, I would not book this hotel if I was the one paying for it. The room was clean and they had a decent breakfast. The "queen size beds" were not true queens, more like full size. The pool was a nasty green color.
Dirty, Run Down & Overall terrible Houskeeping

We stayed here Sunday Aug 20th 2017, the night of the eclipse. The front entry of the hotel was very dirty, floors were a mess, the front door was broken and didn't shut all the way, just a terrible first impression. Being optimistic we continued with our booking. Our room was on the second floor and the carpet down the hallway was repulsive - stained, sticky in spots and over all just nasty. Finally we got to our room and at first it seemed okay, bed was comfortable, carpets were okay - until we used the bathroom. The floors obviously hadn't been cleaned as there was balls of hair in the corners. The grout in the shower and along the floor was moldy, and there was a used washed rag hanging on the shower curtain! The worst part of the whole experience was when we turned on the shower, NO water pressure. The water literally trickled out to the point I used a cup and the sink to get my hair rinsed. Just awful!
What good I can say is the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good (your standard hotel breakfast). I liked how it was off the beaten path and even on a fully booked night it was pretty quiet. The front desk help was very friendly and helpful.
All in all the lack of quality housekeeping made for a terrible experience, definitely do not recommend anyone stay here. It's cheap yes, but there are better hotels for the same cheap price. Look elsewhere!
Nice quiet place off the beaten path.

I've stayed here several times and the place is usually clean and very quiet. Located on the south end of town, it's easy to get to the popular areas. They have a great fitness center, well about the usual broke down treadmill and elliptical you usually find when traveling.
Do Not Stay Here

Avoid this hotel at all cost.
We stayed at the hotel and had nothing but problems. To start the room was trashed. Housekeeping had been in but the room was junk. The window treatments were torn and slashed apart, the desk chair was broken, the AC did not work in the room and the bathroom linnens were stained. Ok maybe a cold drink will help, nope, the ice machine was taken apart and laying in pieces on the floor of the hall.
Maybe a morning shower will help, oh wait while taking a shower the tub doesn't drain. it is really gross standing trying to get clean in dirty water. The water did drain out of the tub but it took 30+ minutes to do this.
When the front desk was approached they said it is what is is and couldn't do anything. Hotel management was supposed to contact me and they have not. do not stay here. Run away. Go to any other hotel in town.
Bottom line is
Hotel is dirty and trashy,
staff is rude,
major repairs need to be completed,
management does not care at all.
