We did choose this hotel in Barstow as pit stop on our way to Las Vegas, and found it is as good value for money based on an offer on this hotel and its evaluations. But we were unfortunately not pleased with our stay.
It is an old dated hotel with dark rooms, noisy ax and freeze in the room.
The breakfast was boring and not really of any taste.
I see the point there the staff tried to be friendly and helpful, but this point was ruined at the day of our check out as, house keeping numerous time ask if we were leaving the room now as we were packing our stuff, the left the hotel at 9 leaving plenty of time to check out time. I have experienced this before anywhere in the world.

The staff were fantastic, friendly and willing to help in any way. When we arrived, there had put little gifts and candy for all the rooms for this event! What a nice gesture!!! Although the rooms were small, and we had lots of stuff, we managed! I would definitely stay there again!

This Sleep Inn is a wonderful golden nugget. It is located a ways off from I-15 but it is worth the extra drive. You can readily see that the staff and the owners care about maintenance and cleanliness. Don't be fooled by the budget name and price. This is a great place to stay. Only one drawback. They have three floors, but no elevator. If you need an elevator, the staff will ask and accommodate you on the main floor!

This place is a no frill hotel but very much a place we would stay again. Outstanding staff, everyone was friendly and treated you as the most important guest. Everyone offered help on anything we needed. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. Had a quiet stay and woke to the smell of a fresh hot breakfast. We will stay here again when coming through. Found out it will be going to a Baymont Inn shortly so if you can't find it look for it under Wyndam hotels.

Convenient location at about 2h drive from LAX makes this place a good starting point for the historic route 66. Modest hotel with easy and free parking, comfortable rooms and friendly staff at very reasonable price.
