The location was great. Just a few miles from Bryson City. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Mostly fast food in Cherokee unless you want to go to the Casino which is ridiculously expensive. The clerks at check in got us checked in and then dismissed us. We asked for more kleenex since there was only one in the box. They couldn't find any. Even the next day the Kleenex had not been replaced. The bottom of the shower curtain was moldy. The breakfast was a joke.

The hotel is in good location close to casino,gas station and few fast food restaurant. The room is in the small side with 2 kids make it qay too small. No bathtub,just shower in our room and toilet is small. Heated pool and hot tub was a bonus,it is located outside the hotel,it is an addition. When we stayed it was raining and going to the pool with no walk way with a roof. No towels in pool area we have to bring the towels from the room. No microwave in room but you can use the mass microwave downtairs at the breakfast area.
My family travel a lot so i always book a hotel with a free breakfast so we do not have to go out to find food. We always go down to eat breakfast 30 mins before its over so we dont have to fight for the crowd. Breakfast served was alright not so much of a choice either. They were out of sausage,few eggs left,coffee was out, no fresh fruit serve(what they have is a syrupy mixed fruits fresh from the cans). Was not impressed with the breakfast. Coffee cup is so tiny(never seen hotel serve tiny styrofoam cup).
Overall stay was alright.

Comfortable, old style rooms. Rooms need upgrading. Friendly, informative staff. No breakfast was a real let down, they used to have an adjacent restaurant but it has been closed. Not many restaurants open for breakfast in Cherokee except fast food. Close to GSMNP entrance.

Not sure where to start, front desk people have no personality except for the one older lady. Mediocre double queen room, small frig and small TV. Bathroom very small and door wouldn't shut properly nor lock. Outdoor pool needs to be cleaned as well as the hot tub. WiFi would never connect any of the 4 days, when I questioned the front desk the very rude younger woman stated that it was cold outside and what did I expect for free WiFi... Very rude. We cut our trip short by a day and have had problems receiving a refund for that one day. We stayed 3 nights and for the price, I expected a whole lot better. Location is great, that's about all I can say for the place.

The hotel was full and wifi was not properly working. The room strongly smelt of air freshener...probably to mask other odours. Room was spacious but bed mattress was very soft. Overall a cheap feel at quite an expensive rate. High season i guess but we stayed in much nicer places at similar rates doing our road trip
