Where to begin?

This place is so bad, I don't know where to begin. The only pluses are outside the hotel in the local area, that has some great bars and restaurants. Although depending on why you are in London the location may not be the best.
The hotel itself is so run down it is ridiculous. The sofa bed in our room was made up when we arrived. We asked the reception if it could be put away. But it turns out the sofa bed was broken so it can't be folded away. There were what I can only assume were blood stains on the furniture and carpet. TV didn't work, window in bedroom couldn't close properly, so you hear traffic all night. The furniture and bath were chipped.
After taking a bath on our second night, I unplugged the bath and water with hair and dirt started gurgling up into the shower. One of the keys to our room didn't work. It was only on the fifth visit to reception that someone noticed that eveytime we brought a key back to reception to get it fixed that they were actually cancelling the other room key.
Each time we went to reception to tell them there was a problem we were told that they would send the maintenance man up when he came in. We were there for 3 nights and the maintenance man never came to our room.
One evening the fire alarm started to go off, when I went out into corridor I found a staff member who told me they were just testing the system. He laughed when I told that it was strange that no announcement had been made to let guests know.
This place is in fire need of some TLC. You can tell the staff know the place is a dump. Avoid.

Stayed here for 2 nights, first thing that struck me was how dirty carpet was in lobby. Room wasn't any better. Luke warm water, could not empty bath took them 18 hours to fix, reception staff were good and tried to be helpful but no local knowledge relying on google for everything and I could of done that !! Over priced 2 star at best
God-awful

After having arrived at an affiliated establishment, So Hammersmith, I was told no rooms were available, and must go to another of their locations. I wound up at So Park, and was given a room reeking of tobacco smoke, with carpet stains everywhere. I quickly made alternate accommodations.
Only in desperation

The staff at the hotel are very good, the location is quite good, contrary to other reviews that I saw, the pub opposite does ok food, great live music at weekends , but sadly that is the best bits, the stale smoke smell is awful in public areas, not that bad in the actual rooms, the hotel needs a refurb, tiles broken in shower room, awful brown carpets should have been dumped years ago. The room I was allocated was above the underground garage, the noise from the automatic door is absolutely horrendous, I am surprised they actually get away with letting the room, you will not sleep at all without being drunk and wearing earplugs. Suffered two nights and would rather have pitched a tent in Battersea park,
2 stars at a push. Very basic

Myself and my husband, came to this so apartments because we are doing a charity walk. Starting from battersea park. So for conveyance,we thought these apartments were good idea. Staff are friendly can't fault them.
But the room smells of stail smoke, decor is very tired looking and the bathroom floor, tiles have cracks and a loose tile. The shower over flows so end up swimming in 3/4 inch of water coz water doesnt drain properley and can't use the bath because no plug.
(We took plug from sink, used that but had to use knife to pull plug as not correct fit). The carpet has seen better days.as well stains that look fresh. As for the room being clean, a blind person could do better! If you just want a one night stay it's ok does the job sort of. As for 4 star not way I put this place at 2 stars tops.
