This a great!! I was here in 2011/12 when the hotel Was under renovation. Since then the hotel has been restored to an outstanding Luster. The restaurant is lovely and sufficient but Fine dining surrounds the restaurant should you choose to go out. The staff is outstanding always going to be helpful. When in Paris, so far, the Sofitel Le Faubourg has been my home away from home.
You will not be disappointed!!!

Room was very nice and the location is very good. Very safe place as the US embassy is just next door!
Hermes is just across the street too. Walking distance to many luxury brand boutique shops and Seine River

Sofitel PLF is in a great location. It is safe, peaceful, and close to all the luxury retail stores. Your taxi can only pass through after being cleared by Police officers at the entrance of the one way street. The Police are present simply because the US Embassy is on the same street.
As you reach the hotel, you will be nicely greeted by the doormen who will assist you in checking in. The staff at the reception are genuinely nice and you will find multilingual staff if required. If you have arrived early before any rooms are available, they will take care of your luggage while you take a nice stroll around the neighbourhood. Otherwise you can enjoy a nice lounging experience in their lobby.
The room is modern french provincial. You will either be facing the street and have access to a balcony; or your room will have the view on the inside square facing the room windows. On our vacation we stayed 4 nights at Sofitel PLF, before travelling to London for 4 nights, and we came back to Sofitel PLF for another 2 nights. This gave us the opportunity to experience both types of rooms.
The cleanliness of the room is unbelievable. You will feel like you are the first ever customer to stay at their hotel.
The buffet breakfast was amazing. The variety includes freshly squeezed fruit juices, freshly made croissants, eggs made ever which way, and so forth. I took photos of the buffet and uploaded to my Instagram. By surprise, the next day we had come back from shopping and we had gifted cakes waiting for us in our room with a message of "thanks for sharing photos on your Instagram". The staff are very attentive and you truly do feel like a client and not a number.
I would personally like to say a big thank you to Gerard and his team for making our stay an absolute delight. Gerard was very helpful to ensure that our first Paris trip was safe, fun, enjoyable, and well memorable.

The location was great. It’s close to the American Embassy, Louvre and boutiques like Hermes, Channel and Gucci. The street is closed to traffic with tight security which is comforting. The reception's decor is modern. Our room was small, quite and nice but not as nice as the lobby. The bathrooms are the nicest part of the room, they are clean and look updated. Service is good but nothing outstanding. Overall the property looks and feels like a boutique hotel not a 5*property…nothing special with a needed renovation in their rooms and elevator areas.

great hotel beautiful room clean comfort very nice team good atmosphere all the experience was very very good.
second time in this hotel which has excellent location and we will no doubt come again on our next visit to paris.
