I stayed in this hotel for at least two times over the last two years upon which time I provided a positive review. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g293791-d3863755-r305001090-Solo_Te_Hotel-Addis_Ababa.html#REVIEWS. It is very unfortunate that the hotel has debilitated seriously over the period that my recent experience was horrible. The rooms and the beds aged so much that I could not believe my eyes. Hotel staff are still very friendly and tried their best to accommodate my request. Nonetheless, the lack of cleanliness of linen and poor maintenance of the rooms forced me not to stay more than a single day this time around. Very sad.

The location and pleasant arrangement of lounge and restaurant with patio combined with a knowledgeable and quality driven staff and hotel owner that knows his business makes the SOLO TE an exceptional visit in Addis.
The menu and food is delicious and reasonably priced while the atmosphere and living spaces are clean and of a high standard in that all the important details have been addressed and staff properly trained and well seasoned for this market.
SOLO TE rates excellent for this market as you will soon learn not all - is as advertised in Addis or Ethiopia and that seeing and knowing is believing~

This is a very nice, decently priced and clean little hotel in a quiet area of Addis. If you walk in, Wifi is free here unlike some big hotels in the area. Management should review the customer care quality of some of their waiters and fix their kitchen ventilation system.

Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. More modern than some in Addis. Airport transfers, wi-fi, breakfast included - a very good deal. Staff are super friendly and efficient - they really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and looked after. For business this Hotel is ideal. There is a Business Board Room, Gym and Spa facilities. The Deluxe room was really spacious and I enjoyed my stay there. Will definitely be back.

very clean room and excellent service and they have spa and free of charge gym services.the staffs are friendly i am enjoy stay at solo te hotel so it is one of finest examples hotels in addis ababa/Ethiopia.
