This hotel is in a great location being less than 5 minutes walk to the the sea front. The rooms are good and the place offers a relaxing place to chill out. The beach was closed when we visited but the pool was open. The breakfasts are very good with a wide variety of foods served.

Very relaxing place just close to the beach. Hotel offers ajurveda treatments and massages. Good quality food at the hotels restaurant. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Only thing they can work on to rooms renovation.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Soma Palmshores. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our Cottage was a little tired but very clean and well equipped. The whole atmosphere of the place was very peaceful and relaxing. A great place to retreat to after the chaos of Lighthouse Beach. Buffet breakfasts were excellent too.

It is not located in the crowd of Kovalam, so it is a peaceful place. Just some stairs away from private beach. Beach is also not so crowded.
It is having swimming pool. Size is medium one. Not so large. But overall pool area is good.
Food is good and nice. Rooms are also spacious and nice.

This property is over-rated. The biggest flop is the Sea View Suites - are not really sea-facing (and not sea view),.. the pool is small .. and the rooms are really small...
We stayed in a Suite - and while it was called out as 15 m away from beach.. the actual suite was different from the one which is shown on the image ...
The only positive is the value for money buffet and food....
