Great welcoming hosts who saved us a car parking space (by prior arrangement) - nice hearty breakfast included. Good value and very happy with our stay.
Shower was a little ‘weak’ perfectly fine though - but the hose could do with replacing or bleaching (room 7).
Overall very happy and we would return without hesitation!

Me,My mum,niece & nephew had a 7 night stay in July,In room number 10.
The room was great and we had no issues at all,We all found the beds very comfortable.
The hosts (Keith & Sheila) were fantastic,They were always on hand if we needed anything,They offered to dry our clothes when we got wet and are very approachable and kind people.
I would highly recomend this hotel if you travel with children as its a great location for south pier and the pleasure beach.
Look forward to staying again next year.
Very nice stay

We stayed for one night during May day Bank holiday. It was a really pleasant visit and in my experience of B&B's in Blackpool this was excellent in comparison to most. Clean room, hospitable hosts in Keith and Sheila and a great location , oh plus a tasty , hearty brekkie means it is definitely recommended .

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Somerville. Keith and Sheila (the owners) made us feel really welcome. Keith saved us at parking space right outside and then we were greeted with tea and coffee and juice plus chocolates for the boys. We were in the room on the top floor which was well equipped and clean. Boys loved the bunk beds. Breakfast was fab too plenty to eat. Location is great only a 2 minute walk to south pier and pleasure beach just round the corner. Loved the velvet coaster (weatherspoons) for food which is located at end of road. Sandcastle water park also at end of road. Got the tram to the tower and did the Blackpool eye and also the circus. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the near future. X
Great Stay

My husband & I were looking to go to Blackpool for 2 nights but didn't book until last minute. As we booked on the Friday to go on the Saturday there weren't many hotels left that had good reviews as well as a decent price. Luckily enough we stumbled across The Somerville Hotel & on checking reviews we settled on booking it. On arrival (around 11:30am) we were greeted by the owner Keith who very efficiently sorted a parking space for us & took our cases to our room. We were given room 3 which was a good size, clean & had all you would need for a short break. Hotel is in a good location for the South pier, Pleasure Beach, tram and bus stops etc. The breakfast served on both days was lovely, sets you up well for the day ahead. The owners were very pleasant, helpful and were always willing to have a chat with you. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Blackpool & would also consider returning when we're next going back to Blackpool.
