Late summer holiday
Servo on 11/09/2017 18:03This pleasant hotel, in a wonderful location, was only a very short stroll from the cable car giving immediate access to excellent mountain hikes. The staff were polite, obliging and attentive without being intrusive and the meals, which offered good choices, were well organised and presented. The wine and water, provided with dinner, was a lovely touch and added to the relaxed atmosphere of the dining room.
Highly recommended.
Holiday Resort Hotel
richardlaw4on 07/08/2017 22:53What a gem this hotel turned out to be! It was a package holiday deal for us and we arrived at about 10pm which was too late for the restaurant to still be open. Some food was quickly rustled up for us once we had chosen between seeing our room and dropping our cases off or eating immediately. Throughout our entire stay of one week the staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and polite - they could not do enough for their guests!
As for the accommodation it was more than adequate, my wife and I were given a family suite which was split maisonette style into two floors with a double room on one level and a twin room on the other. Our room boasted a refrigerator and a FoC safe for our valuables.
With fresh towels daily and clean sheets twice in the week we were well looked after and cleanliness of the accommodation was paramount.
The restaurant was lovely and we looked forward to our meals (half board) with relish and even delight when we discovered the evening meal was complemented by a free half litre of red wine. It was not the most complex of wines but was eminently quaffable and enjoyed by us.
I cannot comment on the other services and facilities that the hotel provides because we did not use them. When chatting to other guests we found two German couples who had been staying annually at the hotel for at least the previous decade and considered it to be very special.
The hotel is situated conveniently close, perhaps two hundred yards, to the gondola which lifts you up to skiing level from where you can explore the many trails and footpaths that crisscross the Dolomites.
Would we visit Campitello di Fassa and use the Hotel Soreghes again? We most certainly would and have no hesitation in recommending it to those folk who enjoy an established, respectful establishment which is not glitzy and gleaming but gives you a warm and satisfied feeling.

WE arrived at 10.30pm expecting maybe a snack or sandwich, but the restaurant had stayed open and produced a three course meal with wine and water. We were not disappointed with any of the other meals during the week. Hearty portions and enough choice to keep everyone happy.
The room was spacious, very clean and tidy with the added bonus of a balcony and a second double room and bathroom upstairs.
We didn't use the spa, wellness, gym and treatment areas but had a quick look at them. All were spotlessly clean. Free wifi worked well in our room.
Without exception, all the staff were courteous and polite.
The hotel is well placed for the lift and it is only a few minutes walk into the village for the bus etc.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to return.
Heavenly Di Fassa
michaelwilliamsonon 08/07/2017 11:40Stayed for one week late June and can only describe Campitello and the whole valley as Heaven on Earth. If you like walking/ hiking, running, relaxing, good company great hotel, friendly staff and need to clear your head and relax, then this is thee place. From our late arrival and still get a hot meal, to a beautifully situated hotel with 360 degree panorama we were totally gobsmacked with Gods creation. The hotel rooms were lovely and clean, the food was very varied and plentiful. Breakfast had all you need, dinner was pre-picked the night before and had plenty on the menu. Water and a litre of wine was supplied free with dinner. You could not leave hungry. We bought the Panorama pass for using all the Ski lifts and buses as often as you needed. This opened up the whole valley for so many low, medium or high level walks in what I can only describe as spectacular landscapes, views and totally fresh air. Our weather was magnificent and on three nights had a thunderstorm to watch. Next morning the hot sun was shinning. Can only thank the Soreghes Hotel staff for adding first class service to our holiday in a magic place. A big thank you also to the lovely people who's path we crossed for one week. It was a pleasure to have met you all.
