My wife was desperate to try the Sunday lunches from here and so we decided to go on the weekend of her 30th birthday with our family. Unfortunately you can only reserve tables until 12pm and as we wanted to go a little later we were told that we may have to wait for a table. We were a little apprehensive particularly as we required a table for 15 people but when we arrived at 2.30pm the staff could not have been more helpful. They sorted us a table almost immediately and the food was gorgeous. 15 meals were served to 15 people and each of us left extremely pleased. They even arranged to store my wife’s birthday cake and sang for her upon bringing it out.

If you're planning your wedding reception here then you won't be disappointed. Absolutely beautiful. Drinks were expensive tho but amazingly friendly staff. After visiting our friends' wedding in the evening we came back for breakfast the next day. The breakfast was nice and tasty but a bit not much on the plate.

stayed here with my husband .it was a gift from my two friends for our silver wedding anniversary.The room was amazing,bathroom with shower and a double jacuzzi bath, television also above bath,robes and slippers provided fresh orange juice and plenty of tea and coffee.The receptionist also gave us a bottle of champagne complimentary of the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant which was wonderful and the breakfast the following morning was lovely too.We were in our private hot tub out the back of our room on the afternoon and did plan to go back in after evening meal but to be honest was so stuffed off the evening meal i could not manage

Stunning place and hotel we had a standard double room which we shared with our 2 boys room was excellent and views were lovely staff are friendly and helpful and food is great lots to do and see here will definitely be back

We have enjoyed many quiet drinks in the bar area but visited last week and were really disappointed with the refurb. The lights are too bright, the comfy sofas have gone and it now resembles a coffee shop. It's horrendous. The only saving grace is the real fire.
Shame.
