We stayed here as we were visiting Paultons Park for a couple of days and wanted more flexibility than a hotel or B&B as we have 2 young children.
It did the job but the facilities were very basic. Only 3 chairs at a very wobbly dining table. Sofas that were terribly uncomfortable and the tv positioned where you couldn't see it from the sofa.
Also, I know that it's just unfortunate but the noise from other 'guests' coming in at all hours etc was really very noticeable - not ideal with young ones.
So a good idea in principle but I'd look for somewhere else if we went again.

What a disaster. Tried to collect the keys at 3pm. No one answering the office phones.
Service dreadful. Rude and incompetent staff.
Never, never use these people. For your own sake book a hotel room or sleep in a doorway rather than use these people.

We stayed here with our young family whilst visiting Peppa Pig World nearby. This worked out cheaper than a hotel and the convenience of being in an apartment with children was great. Easy to find, free parking onsite, very modern and spacious and apart from some dust on the skirting boards it was clean. Walls are thin and you can hear other people but that's what apartment blocks are like, it's no worse than any other block I've been in. Traffic noise from the front is rather noisy but with the windows closed it didn't bother us at all. Would definitely stay here again for the price we paid.

Stayed for one night with family due to proximity to Southampton University. Building looks nice from outside but the actual apartment was dusty with dirty walls, mold and mildew in the bathrooms, kitchen. Cheap furniture that was falling apart, cheap and dirty feeling overall. Once-white towels are now yellowish. Two flat pillows on each springy bed (better as trampolines than beds) that were covered with stained sheets. Expectations would've been much lower if room was cheaper. Also walls were super thin so light sleepers and people who don't like wasting money would do well to avoid this place!

Me, my wife and one daughter spend 4 nights here when visiting the south coast of England. The apartment is spacious, it's clean and it feels like being in a fully equipped summer flat. Everything works smoothly. You have a parking lot at the hotel and an internet connection that meets high standards.
It is situated a bit outside the centre of Southampton, appr 3,2 miles, but there are buses running frequently to the centre. It stops just a few hundred yards from the hotel.
Though there is one thing you must be aware of when you book: the commuter road between Southampton and M3 runs outside the hotel, so if you are looking for a quiet hotel this is might not the place for you. On the other hand if not, I would say the reverse: Absolute value for the money.
