Stayed here for a week in June . Third time at this hotel and it did not disappoint. Room was very spacious clean and quite. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Food was outstanding as was the waiter service. Igls is a very pretty quite village on the outskirts of innsbruke. Bus runs every 10 mins into the centre. There is also a tram that runs into innsbruke though the lovely country side, was not working while we were there this time due to work being done but will be running in July. Would recommend this hotel and we may well be retuning for a forth time. Innsbruke passes great value for money.

A truly excellent hotel. Room clean and spacious with everything you would expect. Breakfast gave plenty of choice hot or cold with eggs cooked to order. Evening meal was usually six courses and again gave plenty of choice with a vegetarian option available.
Packed lunch was also available which was handy for walks or trips out.
Staff were very obliging and courteous with the dining room and bar staff especially attentive.
Being only a short distance from the centre of Innsbruck was a real bonus with the local transport right outside the hotel. Bus service was every ten minutes and cheap !

Quaint old hotel in village above Innsbruck. Room was very modern and comfortable. A bit tight with two suitcases. The view from the balcony was amazing. Snow covered mountains all around.
The breakfast was the best I have had anywhere. Complete range of hot and cold food and drinks and plenty of it. Eggs cooked to order.
The menu at the restaurant didn't appeal to us so we ate elsewhere.
Parking is free but can be hard to find.

We have just returned from another fantastic week at The Sport Hotel. We love it - the welcome on arrival couldn't be friendlier and we were offered a glass of sparkling wine whilst our cases were taken to our room. We stayed in a suite with a view of snow covered mountains - which was spotless, clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and there is a good choice to suit all tastes. Dinners are marvellous and during our stay included a Gala dinner, an Italian buffet, a Farmer's buffet, a Gourmet dinner and every dinner consisted of six or seven courses, with good choices.All the staff are very polite and friendly and all facilities are well run and maintained.The village is lovely in all seasons and within easy reach of Innsbruck by bus from the nearby stop. Unfortunately the tram which winds its way down through woods and past lakes and a castle is out of action for bridge repairs until the summer. There are plentiful walks in the area, two mountains within easy reach, one directly by cable car from the village and the other is across Innsbruck on the bus from the village to the end of the line, then there are two cable cars up to the summit and as you would expect, both have unbelievable views over Innsbruck and the valley it lies in and the mountain ranges on the opposite side. If you wish to travel further afield, visit the Tourist Information Office next to the hotel for friendly advice - where possible they will even book train tickets for you which makes everything so much quicker and easier for you. We return again and have never had anything but a wonderful holiday.

From 24/02 til 26/02/2017 all our family we have booked 7 rooms in this hotel.The hotel , ist facilities and rooms are very nice , on 24/02 people that assist us during the check in were polite like it should be in a 4 star hotel , Unfortunatelly we canot say the same for the waiter that have serve us during the dinner on the 24/02 and 25/02 very arrogant and very rude, we had the feeling that everiting we ask is too much for him .
Also on the day of the check out we ask the recepionist to make a change in the invoice and instead of one invoice to make 3 invoices she reply us in a very rude and arrogant way instead of giving us a proper explenation why its not possible to do. Im traveling a lot all over the world for bussiness and pleasure and have stay in many hotels but i have never been treated in the way i was treated in this hotel .
