There are times when a person feels alone in a different country or place, when you stay at Springhills Marriott you are amongst family. Matthew, a respectful and knowledgeable mixologist and takes the time to remember every customer each year without fail. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The shuttle service for the airport, always on time. Food is incredible and the rooms are clean and well equipped. Thank you for all you do...

This hotel is easily the most friendly place I have ever visited. I came up every 3 or 4 months for a year and was always remembered by a number of the staff.

Jessie, Matthew, and Peter in the bar are the cherry on top of an already great stay. They are always so personable and knowledgeable. I always look forward to my conversations with them. I’ve actually recently moved up to the area and still come to the bar at least twice a week to keep in touch with everyone.

Russell, Kevin, and Cindee at the front desk are also total rock stars. They’re always a bright smiling face when you walk into the hotel and I always look forward to seeing them.

10/10 hotel overall, I’ve never had a partially strongly positive emotion about a hotel before, but this Springhill is honestly a place I look forward to going to whenever I have the chance. Highly recommend.

What an awesome hotel. Newer facility with great rooms. Very surprised because I did not expect such an excellent restaurant and bar. Extremely friendly staff, especially enjoyed the bartender Jesse. Met a new friend for life!!

Impeccable Property!

The SpringHill Suites in Bellingham is a superb hotel. From the moment you arrive, the staff makes you feel right at home. The lobby is modern, open and inviting and everything in this hotel is kept up to impeccable standards. The hotel honored my online check-in requests of extra feather pillows and even verbally confirmed this when I picked up my key.

The rooms are the newer SpringHill layout with a desk/wall separating the living area from the bedroom. The room was very well maintained. I really couldn't find anything that warranted improvement.

The bar in the lobby is fantastic and the food is surprisingly good for this level of hotel. The bartender has been there for several years and is very personable.

Breakfast was pretty standard (all good), very well maintained with an attentive staff.

A couple of quick tips -- there is a Starbucks just around the corner as well as a huge Fred Meyer grocery store. Gotta love Fred Meyer -- a grocery chain on steroids -- they sell clothing and even have a high-end jewelry store -- who would have ever thought!

Thanks to the entire team here for making this a hotel I look forward to returning to.

Not ideal for two or more people with different sleep schedules

It was hard to give a single rating, because I think this hotel would be perfect for a solo traveler. Beautifully decorated in a very European style, with everything you could need. I'd give this a 5* rating if travelling alone. But with two people with different sleep schedules, I'd rate it a 2*. The rooms are narrow, with the coffee maker/fridge, toilet room, and shower all along the wall opposite the beds. The toilet is literally a couple of steps from the end of one of the queen beds, and the door is translucent--completely private, but lets all the light out from the toilet room. So if someone needs to get up in the night to use the toilet, they illuminate the bedroom. Similarly, if someone works at the desk after the other person has gone to bed, a translucent privacy screen lets all the light through. Overall, I doubt I'd stay here again, despite plenty of positives suchg as excellent service, nice breakfast, good clean facilities. Just not a restful room!
