Large Rooms Great Breakfast
delmarvamomon 03/11/2017 12:51This appears to be a new hotel. It is clean with no odor or signs of wear. Our room was modern, well appointed and large. No complaints at all. The free breakfast is much better than most with healthy fresh options.
Need Better Quality Control
fligsteron 18/09/2017 15:53I have to give this place a low review based on the air conditioner in my room. There was a lot of mildew or mold like stains on the vent (see pictures). This is not good for the air quality. I am glad I was only there for 1 night and wish I would of went to look out the window and seen this sooner so I could of tried to change rooms.
Other than that, the hotel was ok. Checkin was fairly quick but I had to wait a little while because the front desk person was arranging some sort of package pickup on the phone. The room itself was a good size and besides for the air vent condition, seemed to be clean. My iron didn't work, and they provided a new one within about 10 minutes. My colleague who also had a room, had an issue with his ironing board cover that they couldn't replace, as well as a slow drain in the tub. I also, noticed the room number on the phone was incorrect when I called for the iron, this could be an issue for someone in an emergency.

MichelleLS11on 15/09/2017 15:39We had a great stay! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff was very nice and the check in process was very fast. We liked the fact that the shower area was separated from the toilet area. We will definitely stay here again.

Shona Don 14/09/2017 00:08I was greeted with such big smiles and enthusiasm when I walked into the hotel it made me feel very welcome. The hotel had that brand new smell to it redesigned Lobby excellent decor. My room was spacious clean and I love the new showers. I would gladly stay at this location again as it is very close to shopping highways and business centers.

Deb Won 13/09/2017 13:41I stayed at this hotel because of a mandatory evacuation from Florida. When I checked in, I said I wasn't sure how long I would be staying. I ask if I could have the same rate throughout my stay. The front desk person couldn't answer the question and took my name and cell phone number. She never called back. The next day I went to the front desk and ask the same question and the front desk person took my name and telephone number and called the general manager of the Spring Hill suites in Columbia Maryland. The response I got was no. They wanted to charge me 2 1/2 times the I paid when I checked in . I think that is a travesty to do that but when there is a natural disaster and a mandatory evacuation to take advantage of people. I'm deeply disappointed at Marriott Corporation and how I was treated at this hotel. I went to breakfast before they closed down the breakfast at 10 o'clock and there was no bread ,bagels, toast ,fruit on the breakfast bar .I walked back to the kitchen and the employees were standing there having breakfast themselves and talking. I asked for a bagel and they said you can take one from the tray and I asked for some fruit to be put out and they put out a tray of cantaloupe and don't bother to put any utensils in the tray. They were very lackadaisical and could care less about helping anyone. When I checked out of the hotel I asked for the manager and the front desk person said her door is closed. I said I wanted to speak with a manager and to get her. I explained to her what happened and about the breakfast bar and she also had a lackadaisical attitude. Marriott Corporation should be ashamed of themselves for having employees treating customers like this when there is a disaster happening. Suffice it to say I will never be staying at a Marriott hotel again. And the public should know how customers are treated in an emergency situation.
