DougIowaon 14/09/2017 03:28Nice hotel...lobby very comfortable. Two-room suite with a very comfortable bed. The sofa appeared to have seen its better day...but was only there for one night so not a big deal. Friendly staff. Location can't be beat...you can walk across a parking lot to a large mall. Lots of chain restaurants near.
Pros and Cons of this Hotel
momofboys000on 10/09/2017 23:21Needed a place to stay overnight as my son had testing to do at the Pearson Testing Center at 7:30 AM the next morning. Choose this hotel due to it being the closest to the testing center, price, and I am a Marriott Rewards Member. We arrived after 8 PM and were tired. Pro's close to testing site and the suite was huge. Con's I am unsure if my room was truly cleaned from the guest before. There were dirty towels in the bathroom, long dark black hairs on the bathroom floor, a cricket in the bathtub, and could only get 1 TV channel, also notice bottle tops underneath the sofa. The WiFi was very fast at night but in the morning I couldn't even get connected it was so slow. The continental breakfast in the morning had the usual, bland eggs, sausage patties, and waffle machine for hot items. Oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and some fruit. I went to the front desk in the am and told them about my TV and he said yes I know what the matter is happens to all our TV's the sensor in front of the TV fell off. It was an easy fix. I usually am not a complainer but I figure how can you rate something bad if you don't give the hotel the complaint to try and make you happy???? So when I checked out I went to the front desk and told them my concerns and all I got was a sorry. I guess I should of went to the front desk right when I got there and requested a different room but was too tired.
Comfortable stay
evasmiaon 06/09/2017 20:18Arrived a little early but Jeff, the hotel registrar, was able to get us into a room quickly. The bed was very comfortable but we were a little stunned by the room. A very unique layout (our first time at a SpringHill Suites so they may all look like this) with comfortable couch. The TV swiveled enough to watch from bed or "living" area.
The only downside was the breakfast. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. I was a little surprised that they didn't have any breakfast meats. When I asked, the front desk said that they considered the biscuits and gravy to be the meat.
Other than that, the place looked very family friendly. A good stop.
Amazing Stay
TrishaBirchon 31/07/2017 06:31Booked this hotel last minute and wasn't sure what to expect. With the Softball Nationals Tournament in town, we didn't think we'd find a decent hotel room. However, this hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable, they had great breakfast options & very courteous staff. We highly recommend staying here while in Peoria.

This hotel made for a nice quick stop, and we would stay here again if I were to pass through again in the future.
