I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s off the beaten track, so it’s a destination in itself, surrounded by dramatic mountains and forest trails. The staff are very friendly, the rooms spacious and tasteful. Exceptional value, even for South Africa. If you’re in Paarl, stay here.

Already the drive there, leaving the Cape Town to Johannesburg highway and driving through the soft hills of Paarl and the cape winelands prepares you for this little part of paradise hidden in the Western Cape.
Quiet and peaceful surroundings, excellent food, a well stocked wine cellar with the best the region has to offer, child friendly, courteous staff, superb tourism advice from the front desk, And although you really have no incentive to eat outside, as the Chef is basically a food magician, he and his wife will give you the best tips for fine dining in town.
Make sure to do an olive oil tasting!
A nice family-run hotel that I always enjoy coming back to.

What a great hidden gem. I was able to get a last minute booking here on a work trip. Beautiful location. Large luxurious room. Great breakfast overlooking the pool and mountain backdrop. All the staff I dealt with were very riendly well trained. Highly recommend this venue for any kind of stay

Very nice country manor hotel in the middle of the nature. Excellent rooms. Very kind and well educated staff which gave you a warm welcome. Good breakfast and the set dinner well done! Only a big compliment and we hope to come back!

Beautiful house set in stunning green lawns surrounded by mountains and olive trees. Such a welcome stop for the Wellington Wine Walkers group. Had a very interesting talk on olive oil, how it is made and what to look out for when purchasing olive oil. So educational. Lunch was superb- everything olive - tapenade, baked olives and off course the delicious olive oil. Beautiful swimming pool, such a relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff. Superb place for a get away. Recommended
