Excellent welcoming hospitality, on a Friday night in Arundel, top of the town, underneath the Cathedral, with an outstanding Full English before departing Saturday morning. Comfortable ground floor room for overnight stay, clean and fresh decor, with car parking in yard immediately outside the door.

Lovely old Inn, very easy to find with plenty of parking. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable and warm with adequate tea, coffee and biscuit supplies which are topped up every day. Breakfast was made fresh to order, with a good choice of cereals, yoghurts and juice. We stayed with our three year old and we were all very well looked after, and I would most definitely stay again

Stayed at St. Mary's Gate recently.
Nice clean rooms were made up every day including clean towels. The facilities were practical- shower over bath running from the bath taps took a little getting used to, but worked well. Friendly staff went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was hot & cooked well. The chef would prepare any combination of menu items.
Car parking was plentiful, but sunday night is quiz night & can get busy.
Overall, a nice place to stay & we won't hesitate to stay again.

Very much enjoyed my stay at the St Mary's gate inn. The staff were lovely, the food excellent and the room very nice. The location next to the Cathedral was perfect.
Arundel is an absolute gem of a town. A evening stroll and morning run was very interesting given the amazing historical buildings. Lots of lovely pubs, shops and restaurants too.

We only stayed at St Marys Gate Inn for one night, but our stay was perfect. The room was decorated very nicely, everything was new and clean. Very dog friendly (our dog even got biscuits). The breakfast room was lovely and the food very good, they even fulfilled special requests (like boiled eggs). Free parking in front of the house was very nice, too. Perfect location, only a few minutes walkt from the center, shops and pubs of Arundel. Very nice that it is also a pub - food was very good, with delicious vegetarian options, too. All in all a perfect B&B - we would totally recommend St Marys Gate Inn and would always stay there again some day.
