Fantastic hotel in a stunning town
theonewithtomon 11/11/2017 20:05If I'm honest I didn't know what to expect when going to Bolzano. It is a stunning town, and the Stadt Hotel Citta is a great place to base a visit. The hotel has a fantastic location on the towns main square. The staff are helpful and the rooms are clean and well kept. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was included in the price.

MarioSharon Son 24/10/2017 22:23We recently stayed four nights at the Stadt Hotel Citta in Bolzano. It is located on the Walther Square with easy walking to shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable, though a bit noisy and smokey when we opened our window. If you want more quiet and less smoke, you might ask for a room that's higher than the first floor and is on the same side as the Walther Square.
The staff were all very friendly and were willing to help whenever they could.
We rented a car, so we took advantage of the discount that the hotel offered on underground parking.
The buffet breakfast was delicious! They offered a very large selection of foods, including gluten and dairy free options. We were in hotels for three weeks while we were in Italy, and the buffet breakfast at the Stadt Hotel Citta was the best!!!

Excellent buffet breakfast and sitting on the outside terrace in the Piazza during the late afternoon enjoying an aperitivo, beer or a coffee while looking at the alps is a treat

Yolande von 19/10/2017 01:15I stayed here for four nights on my own in September. The hotel was perfectly situated. The breakfasts were great, and the room was comfortable and very clean. My sleep was interrupted on the first two nights as there was a very noisy festival in the square below until very late at night, but I was told this only occurs every two years.
Just in the center of the city, clean and wonderful breakfast
Pachochaon 09/10/2017 17:48I stayed here for some nights and it was an excellent choice for my stay in Bolzano. The people at the reception desk are nice and speak different languages, which makes everything easy.
The room I stayed in was small (a single room), but very clean and comfortable. The towels, the bedlinen, everything was very clean.
Breakfast was wonderful, with a wide selection of products of every type you may want. There are gluten-free options, if you would like to go for that.
It is located 5 minutes away from the train station and in the busy Walther Square. Only cons I can highlight are two: you hear the bells from the church (take earplugs with you!) and the hotel may be packed with tourists, which may make the check-in/check-out a bit time-consuming.
