Location was convenient to highway exit. Although there were no nearby restaurants at this exit, we were given the name of restaurant that delivered to motel. .

This motel is clean, easy to access off the interstate, and I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Over the last 6 years, I've probably stayed here about 8 times. My experience has always been good.

Must be better options

We understand when we travel with pets we will not be getting the best a available room. But this was insulting.
We arrived fairly early, no more then a dozen cars around the building. We were put in a room in a breeze way across from laundry, large trash bin, vending and the ice machine. The breezeway was dark and dirty. Soon after setting in it became obvious we had been located with what appeared to be full time residents. Noise from the machines and the people traffic all night.
The room - Everything worked but everything was a bit grungy. The kind of grungy where you find yourself washing your hands all the time.
Enough said, you get the point. I will be crossing this one off my list.

Bad from the Beginning !

The check -in experience was horrible .
They did not give me the ground floor room I requested on the original reservation but it gets worse from there .
They handed me a bill to sign and I noticed the total was more than I was quoted .
The very rude clerk argued with me so I went to the car and I got my printed confirmation .
They were charging me more than was on my confirmation .
She said they had the right to ADD hospitality taxes if they wanted to .
That is not right .
You should never have to pay more than is confirmed when you make the reservation .
The reason they did this is simple : It was a weekend and there was a college football game there that weekend and they price gouged and called it an extra tax.
The worst part of it all was the hateful girl on duty .
She was the rudest person ever .
She had a smart remark or sarcastic answer to everything I said .
She gave me an ultimatum to either take the room and pay the higher amount or leave .
There were no rooms left anywhere in the town .
I had no choice and she knew it .
It took over 30 minutes to get checked in because she was such a pain .
I went back in and asked her name , It was Stephanie.and I told her I would be writing a review .
She just shrugged .
The front office is far away from the hotel rooms .
It was late that night and I was so frazzled by her rude behavior that we went straight to bed .
The next morning we discovered the tv did not work properly .
It came on but the picture was green and blurry .
There was no way you could watch anything on that tv .
We pick up our room phone to call the office about it and the phone in the room doesn't work either .
I go in the office myself and tell Stephanie about the tv .
She told me she would have it fixed while we were out for the day .
We came back that night and the tv had not been touched .
No one ever came to fix it .
I also reported the room phone and she just shrugged .
We had to use our cell phones just to call the main office .
Breakfast was lousy . The eggs were actually wet .
I didn't even try to eat it .
I had only reserved a room for 2 nights and I was so glad of that .
No tv to watch , a broken phone , internet that didn't work , upper floor with no elevator .., overcharged ... need I say more ?
I would never stay here again and Stephanie should be fired .
I will never forget her bad attitude and her rude behavior .
She was hateful for no reason .
My stay here was ruined from the minute I walked in and had to deal with her .
When I checked out I mentioned the tv to her one more time .
She said she never watched tv so she didn't know .
She then said it was the cable company .
Had that been the case every single tv in the entire place would have been green and blurry .
It was obvious she did not care at all .

This is not a frills hotel but priced right and was descent.

This is a days inn. If you have never stayed at a days inn, it's a 2-3 star hotel brand. If your expecting more than that, pay more money.
I think this hotel was more than comfortable. We travel a lot between NY and TN. Have stayed at many hotels along the way. This was slightly above average for most reasons, slightly below average for a couple others.
Breakfast was fresh and full up. Plenty to eat and a good spread. It is served in the main lobby which is a separate building from the rooms. That makes it nice for sleeping customers with others late check-in. This is right off highway 81 for convenience of many travellers as well as truckers. Very large parking area. Well built walls so no noise from your neighbors. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom was updated. Closet, dresser, microwave, mini refrigerator, sitting chair as well as desk and chair provided.
One bad thing that we encounter at a lot of motels and hotels...the doors are not sound protected. Meaning when someone is walking by the door area, you may as well have the door open. Conversation and noise are crystal clear. Especially at 6am when your neighbor decides to leave and then locks himself out of his room and talks about it loudly.
All in all, a good stay and I would book again.
