This lodging venue is close to an interstate highway (like right next to it), and one entire wing is almost directly under an underpass. Requesting a quiet room away from noise, I received a room not only with a stones throw from the underpass but also right next to a major city street. Needless to say, I had the worst nights sleep in a motel/hotel facility in about a decade, and that includes traveling everywhere from Cambodia to Honolulu. These WERE suites with fridge, sink etc., clean and spacious, but they would more suit a family wanting to stay several days instead of just passing through. Recommend that people stay at any one of the nearby hotels/motels unless you like to be up all night.

The Staybridge Suites Middleton / Madison is a special site, the staff is having fun keeping you fed and comfortable. Evening socials and the chefs working the breakfast area some of the days I was there was a pleasant and appreciated experience.

every thing was great. good food. good pool. great hot tub.great staff.great location.add pepsi products to the pantry.close to museums, capital brewery, restaurants, city trolleys, historic sites and the regional airport.

I reserved a suite at this hotel using my points, and was surprised to be rewarded with a huge, fully equipped suite with two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. This was actually nicer than some apartments I have seen with a "roommate plan". There were two bedrooms and two full baths separated by a common area which included a fully equipped and furnished kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, cooktop stove, microwave oven, cooking tools, cups, plates, and utensils, AND a dishwasher! Nice table and couch in the common area; each room had a television, and the reception for tv and wi-fi was great! Very nice complimentary breakfast with fresh choices both hot and cold. The pool and hot tub were in their own separate building, and they were clean and well maintained. All personnel were extremely friendly and helpful.

I should have known to change hotels when I called and they couldn't tell me how to get to their hotel! (I was right down the road, less than half a mile! I couldn't see the hotel because there were fire trucks and other safety vehicles in front of it). The first morning at breakfast, I asked the breakfast lady for tongs to grab the bread. She said they didn't have any. That's actually a basic health department rule. The second day I went down to breakfast, I saw the breakfast lady putting the bread in to the container WITH HER BARE HANDS!!! That, too, is a health department code violation! That same day, there were non-service dogs in the food area. I believe that's a health code violation too. That day and every day after, I went out and purchased breakfast at a restaurant ( even though I paid for breakfast as part of my hotel charge!). When I brought it to the attention of the assistant general manager, "I'm sorry you feel that way" was all I got. What??? I tried to use their computer to print something, but it was set to go to a printer they didn't have anymore. And parking is extremely limited outside, so you have to park in an underground parking lot with which I did not feel safe. 95% of hotel staff had no type of identification one them, no name tag, no staybridge shirt. They sat around like it was their private home. On Friday morning, the front desk man ( no name tag) , it must have been his girlfriend sitting on the guest side of the front desk, eating breakfast and on her phone. I say girlfriend because she had NO name tag, no staybridge shirt but she knew the front desk man's name . Didn't feel safe. Didn't know who was who. Didn't feel there was safe food handling. I will not stay here again.
