I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and the service, location, and rooms are great. I have recommended this hotel to friends and family. The hotel is always friendly and willing to accommodate me when I arrive at the hotel and follow up with a courtesy call to check on me and the room.

Chose this hotel for a weekend stay. My family and I came to meet up with some of our family who was coming down from Colorado for a convention in the city. The group my family was with was staying at this hotel and so we decided to do the same thankfully. Everything about this hotel was great. Upon check in the young lady, I believe her name was Vanessa, was very courteous and outgoing. She gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do in the area. We did have a small issue in our room upon checking in but the staff took care of the issue swiftly and professionally. We even received a bag with goodies with an apology letter from the hotel manager German, apologizing for the inconvenience and to ensure it was fixed to our satisfaction, which it was. The hotel was situated in a great location in downtown but off to the side, far enough from all the hussle and bussle of downtown. If ever traveling back to the San Antonio area we definitely plan to stay at this hotel again.

This location has very friendly staff and delicious breakfast every morning. They often offer complimentary dinner, beer and wine to the guests. Maintenace and kitchen staff were the friendliest and most efficient. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 would be the housekeeping. It was very inconsistent and they didn't really clean. There was mold growing on the ceiling near my ac vent and it stayed there for about two weeks. No surfaces were ever wiped and sometimes I wouldn't get new sheets when needed. Overall I did enjoy my stay.

I made a reservation through my App for 10/18/2017 for an event being held there in San Antonio, TX. My wife was to meet me in San Antonio for a concert. Yet after making an Attempt with Manager Herman , he refused to accommodate me by my wife checking in for me. I reside in Austin, and with traffic bearing down the 5:00pm. hour there was no way I was going to be able to check in early, we were to meet at ATT center and then head to hotel. After Manager Herman reviewing my reservation, and saw I was "JUST an EMPLOYEE" he made it difficult for my stay and said it could not be done. My wife could not check in for me. I have been a member with IHG since it was called Priority Club over 15 years and worked my way up 2 times to being a platinum member. Just a year ago I started to work with IHG, and yet your manger seems to perceive me as "LESS" because I am an employee? Your manager did not do anything to try to accommodate me and my wife , nor did he acknowledge or consider my platinum status. Very disappointed I cancelled the reservation Cancelation # 57530670, and went to a Holiday Inn express property where the Manager there did accommodate us and did acknowledge me not only as a member but as a person.

I recently stayed here from 10/4--10/9. I would have given 5 stars, but the a/c broke twice during our stay, and it was HOT! The staff was friendly and helpful, esp Ellena who worked at the front desk. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. The amenities were great! The washer/dryers were complimentary, that was a nice surprise. The pool was nice and clean. They gym facilities were up to par. The complimentary breakfast was decent. Parking was a bit away from the hotel. The location was near to Riverwalk, and within a short walk was a couple of great restaurants Smoke and Tony G's. I was there for my daughter graduating BMT,and thanks to the hotel, the stay was pleasant.
