The breakfast is HUGE and has basically everything you can imagine. VERY nice and everything is fresh and it looks clean and orderly. Loved the breakfast and the restaurant faces the marina and all the great sail boats. The room was very nice as well. Comfy bed and super clean. A great stay for us.

This hotel sits overlooking the harbour and is spacious, airy and light. Good swimming pool and endless outdoors decking for sitting out and enjoying the never-ending sunset. Pop into the bar and enjoy the quality selection of local real ales. Lovely jubbly!

A biggest hotel in Borgholm, Öland, Sweden, but not a god hotel. Very expensive room. Nice view from the big balcony to the sea. Shabby room, as specially the bathroom. The worst was that they have a night club on the first floor and they started play music in very high volume at 9 pm on the evening and this was end at 2 am. It was impossible ti sleep and impossible to be in the room. The hotel is a four star hotel but it was impossible to order in-room service. Good breakfast.

Family Sunday lunch turned out to be a terrible experince. The Strand has special lunch offers on Sundays. It turned out to be extremely small portions and meat dry as Sahara. We could hardly believe that the food was cooked by somebody with at least basic cooking skills. No flavour and taste at all. French fries ( came with burger) nearly uneatable
Toilets stinking and the building inside looking as if it would have been a "hit" in Eastern Europé in the early eighties.
The seaview is very nice and the waiter friendly. Good place to enjoy a beer but avoid the terrible and overprized food completely and do not expect any standards for hygiene in toilets,

The waitress was excellent the dishes was nice to watch and delicious to taste. The restaurant can provide a great view of the bay of Borgholm and the fine guest harbour.
I recommend a widow table for best view and experience of the Dinner.
Boring building from the outside, nice interior and fab sea level location.
