We are currently staying here. Some rude people must have issues cause of their nasty reviews. Our take? It's very clean. Excellent internet. Large TV and 500 channels with premium also. Pool is so clean you can drink it lol. Medium large ice box if you like kitchenettes with top burners king size beds with no insects in the rooms. Priced better than most in the area and a laundry room and very good housekeeping and management. Great access to main roads and the mall is about a mile away. So ignore the rude reviews. This place is ok and NOT a dump

I have stayed in a lot of Motel 6’s, and I figured that a Studio 6 was a great deal at about the same price. A few things I encountered here in room 144 at the Studio 6, 3031 E Highway 80, I-20 at exit #121, Odessa, TX 79761. I personally stayed there on 2/24/2017.
The place was a pigsty. I should have known by the fact that almost no one was staying there. And looking back, I should have found another motel via a phone app and left and demanded my money back. As a landlord myself, I would never allow a tenant to move into my own places looking like the way this room looked.
I do not even know if they had cleaned sheets on the bed, it sure did not feel like it.
Here are a few things that I observed while physically in the room for the evening.
No smoke or carbon monoxide detector. This is a safety violation.
The room had a missing outlet cover. This is a safety violation.
The bed pillow mattress was upside down, who knows what the top of the one-sided mattress looked like.
The seat cushion on one chair was missing the cushion cover, the other seat cushion was cracked with something stuck on it.
The front door was pulled off the wall, even when closed had a large opening around frame. It appeared that the motel door must have been kicked in at one point.
The toilet bolt covers were missing, that allows all sorts of stuff to accumulate in them. A definite gross factor.
The hood fan light was burned out
The hood fan did not work
I would advise everyone to stay away from this establishment!

When I checked in the man was very hard to understand and was not very helpful. I asked what time breakfast was and he turned around and then handed me to oatmeal packets. I was mortified, then we got up to our room. The beds had stains all over them, the pillow cases were dirty. the bathroom was falling apart.There was dark stains on the one chair in the room. The kitchenette had a small coffee maker but no coffee. There was 1 bowl and 1 plate and no silverware. Cracks were in the walls all around the room. It was just disgusting. I wouldn't let my daughter touch anything. I immediately sent my husband back to the front desk as I loaded all our stuff back in the car. There was no way we were going to stay here.

I checked in on November 20 2016 come in the room it is horrible the dresser drawer was hanging also the kitchen door the mattress had been flipped over so now there is springs at the top to lay on I pull Confiteor off to find lots a blood on box spring so I'm quite sure that's why the mattress was flipped. Go into the bathroom and there is black mold everywhere all along the closet and the bathroom walls were filthy holes in walls door latch wash broken i have been traveling for years and been to some whole in the whole hotels but this is the worse I have ever been. You just can't ask for a refund you have to get way out of character to get your money back . I have photos and videos this is just horrible. 73 dollars to sleep on spring and inhale black mold o think not stay away from this hotel

I travel all over Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. I've stayed in small towns and big cities. I can handle a bad motel for a night but I booked this for a week. I lasted 2 days. In all of my travels this was by far the worst experience I've had. I would walk outside my door and witness drug deals going down. I travel alone but this is not a family play. I wouldn't bring my granddaughter here. EVER.
On the plus side. When I told them I couldn't tolerate the hotel, they gladly refunded my money.
