This is the best hotel to stay when you ski at Big Sky if you want to ski in/ski out. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was nicely decorated and well maintained. The lodge was in traditional Montana decor. There were several places to eat on site and nearby. It is the priciest hotel in the area but worth it for the convenience. While there is no real ski town at big ski, the Summit is walking distance to whatever ski town that does exist. I love that you can ski right to the back doors of the resort and a staff member will take your skis off your feet and store them for you. The people in Montana are the absolute nicest people in the world. If it were easier to fly into Montana, I think Big Sky would be rated the #1 ski resort in the world. It is my favorite ski resort. The Summit has a fabulous pool that is half indoors and half outside. Be sure to make reservations early because this resort gets full as those of us “in the know” have figured out this hidden gem is the best place to stay.

This is a great hotel nestled right up against the ski runs. Very quiet hotel. Room was very nice with walk-in shower and heating/cooling system that works with your room key. Very convenient and setting is right by bed. Ice machine is only on the second level so that was somewhat an inconvenience but it worked.

This place is amazing, so much to do and see!! It's absolutely beautiful. Everyone is so friendly! The experience overall was perfect!! I did not have one complaint the entire trip, all smiles here I'm ready to move to Montana!!

Stayed here during eclipse 2017 week as one of the few places near Yellowstone with availability. Decent number of on site restaurants open during off season and market had everything you could possibly want. Resort had rooms with connecting doors, which contributed to some noise issues. Numerous activities (for various prices) gave everyone something to do. Cost of chair lifts included in overnight stay, which was worthwhile as this was a big highlight for the teens. Make sure to get passes, though, from adventure center or concierge beforehand. Bike trails seemed cool and extensive (gear rental a possibility but we didn't do). Dad and 16 yo did adventure Ziplining and 13 yo enjoyed trampoline and mini golf.

We stayed here 2 nights to rest up midway from our trip from Milwaukee to Seattle. This is a ski resort although not as active in the summer but still plenty to see and do. We took the complimentary tram up and hiked down for a nice afternoon. We had a room with 2 queen beds overlooking the hotel pool and outside dining area. We had some lighting issues in this room (turn knobs on fixtures missing) but otherwise a nice room. Our rate included breakfast which was very good with being able to order anything off the menu. We also had dinner in their dining room and were very pleased with the choices offered. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
