I came here at the end of July beginning of August, it was my first time in India, Laisa and her family welcomed me into there home and gorgeous surroundings.
The room was immaculately clean and very bright. The surrounding area and views were amazing.
So peaceful I was able to relax and enjoy the scenery and de-stress from work.
I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Louise x

We were a group of four friends. We stayed in the sun bird resort for two days and two nights in their rose villa. This was the first villa nearest to the reception, it consisted of two bed rooms (with attached bath rooms) and one Sitting room (with TV) and one outter room with beds for around four more members to sleep (in case of big group). The resort by itself is located inside a pepper plantation but not on very high grounds so we could not expect much of views from the rooms. But the atmosphere outsider the villa was always pleasant and we had no regrets about it. The Villa rooms pros were they were very simply yet nicely decorated, the wash rooms were also clean and the bed sheets and the towels were neat. The cons were the bathrooms were not well lit (pretty dim), rooms did not have night lamps, and in our room the fan regulator was broken so we could not adjust the speed. Also, since the resort is located amid a forest/plantation the rooms were understandably fully packed (to avoid insects from entering) but this at some points led to lack of fresh air inside the rooms. This can be a concern. The pros of the resort facilities were the very helpful staff, the extremely nice food (we had breakfast and buffet dinner), the pool looked very clean (we did not try as it was cold), the pathways to walk around and small lake and children's park, bonfire (we did not try), the view from the restaurant area of the rocks and hills (very magnificent). The cons of the resort were it is not very will lit for the night and can be difficult to move around, the property though was good, could have been maintained more neater.
Overall we were very satisfied with our experience at the resort for the price paid.

Really It was superb resort in terms food , service , cleanliness, swimming pool is very clean & very flexible people ( food as we choose)
Worth going to dis resort , we can have good photo shoot at resort

Resort is at quiet place,its feels peace being there. It has some nice views around it. The food available at resort is also nice,especially the breakfast. The team at reception is also very kind and helpful. Only thing to take care while reaching the place is observing the sign board of resort since resort is half km inside from main road.

This is very conveniently located after Sulthan Bathery town just off Bangalore-Calicut NH on the left side with enough sign board on the road side. From the highway just about 400~500 mtr.
Details:
This is a big property with different types of accommodation options, ranging from independent cottages, to double room cottages, a big villa with individual rooms to tree top cottages. These are spread across the whole property providing privacy and convenience as per choice and budget. The independent (also called poolside) cottages are good for couples, adequate for a family with small children(s). These are nicely designed rooms in octagonal shape with attached bath. Has TV in it. The management provides extra bed if required.
Food:
The food provided are decent with good variety. They have a separate dinning hall and no room service. The spread are a mix of south Indian dishes including Chapati/Rice/Roti with veg and NV curries.
Other things:
They have nice and maintained swimming pool to cool off. A small park for children's to play. Options to play indoor game like TT, Carrom etc. There are lots of greenery and thus lots of birds can be seen. It would be nice if they can make small watch tower for bird watchers. The place is close to Edakkal caves (6kms) and Sulthan bathery(5kms) town.
