The owners were very nice and friendly and check in went without incident. The hotel itself is in a great location, walkable to convenience store an McDonalds. It was fine to sleep and I didn’t see anything or anyone that looked out of place. The hotel is old and the inside is well...old. My linens on the bed were dirty with stains and hair and I asked for them to be changed and they were. I used slippers to walk across the floor. The owner mentioned they don’t have a maid service that she herself is the “maid”. The towels are old and ragged but you get what you pay for. Ifhih are only looking for. Place to lay your head it is fine.

The stay here was ok.Only thing I didnt like ,the owners act like you are a criminal or something.Wouldnt show the room without id.Asked several times if their would be visitors.When they cleaned the room on first night,all they did was vaccum and leave clean towels.Didnt make the bed.But all in all it was a good motel for the price.

After driving all day to get to Burnet, I found the Best Western and the Comfort Suites were all booked up. I saw this place right across from the McDonalds with a convenience store next door. Lucky for us, they had two queen beds for our family of 5 at $65 plus tax. Rooms are somewhat small but they were clean. Not really up to my wife's standards but she survived! Not a bad place to crash when you tired. They do have a fridge and a microwave. Absolutely no pets or smoking!!! They will let you know right away there is a $500 fee for that, no kidding.

What made me rate this little hotel as VERY GOOD, wasn't necessarily its 5 star hotel room or 5 star luxuries (which it really didn't have) but it was the very nice way I was treated by the man running the front desk. He was very courteous and went out of his way to make my stay good. And the room wasn't bad! Clean sheets, good TV, shower worked fine, best price around considering the higher priced 'average' national brands in Burnet, Only close place to eat, within walking distance, was a McDonalds, but worked for me!

Unprofessional, inconsiderate, dirty, and old run down building. Not worth the money to stay in. disgusting, horrible, they charge $20 for taxes. Sad place to stay even in an emergency. think before making a reservation.
