Sunrise has everything you need & is clean and comfortable. Modestly decorated with comfortable bed and good pillows. Excellent little Italian coffee machine in your room is a welcome luxurious touch. Friendly helpful staff and a charming continental breakfast spread in their lovely dining room. Best of all - Camille - the on-site restaurant open evenings is excellent!

A good accommodation option for tourists visiting Tasmania Close to the center of Devonport however, quiet and peaceful. Close to the see and pictursque bluff. Good value for many. On site a small bistro with French dishes. Prices medium-high.

Sunrise ticks many boxes - good brekky included, clean amenities, friendly staff, close to the water and reasonably priced. Extra adults $20 (much higher in other establishments).
Its about 2km's from the city centre so would ideally need a car however within walking distance to surf life saving club (food and beverage), beachfront and Mersey Bluff lighthouse headland.
Rooms are not the most modern (eg: have the old am/fm tuner built into the bedside table) however very comfortable, average shower pressure, clean and safe.
The resto is well decored and offered a fulfilling breakfast - toasts, yoghurt, fruits, tea/coffee and cereals.
Would definately recommend Sunrise for your stay in Devonport.

I booked hubby into Sunrise as he had entered a bike ride challenge. From the start of my interactions with Claire and Paul, I could not have been better served with help, support and kindness. I had to change plans from family to single room, then extend an extra night... and all done with good grace. When hubby ended up staying overnight in hospital rather than in his hotel room due to cycling accident, Sunrise made contact with me to check all was ok and offered help, then didn't charge him for the second night. Amazing kindness in this increasingly commercialised world. I will book with Sunrise again and I will enjoy a Camille dinner, which comes highly recommended. Thank you team Sunrise.

We had the spa room and was large and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been accommodating and friendly. Great french restaurant with good selection of lovely meals. Laundry easily accessible for washing. Coffee machines in rooms. Short walk to the beach and foreshore. Would stay here again :-)
