worth paying for a unit with ocean view and get one higher up as you can see the Cabo arch from your balcony and watch the sunsets every evening. comes with outdoor swimming pool and loungers and easy car park at the front. easy access to the beach. Good surfers would love the point break there. Cleaning included everyday like a hotel. Can be rather noisy if your neighbours in the same block are a group of drunken louts or young people on spring break.
Beware that there was some kind of additional charge payable when you check in.

I arrive to Cabo and ask a taxi driver the rates to get to sunrock hotel. He tells me that for a private ride it would cost me $80 and in a shuttle it'll cost $45. So beware of expensive rates coming from the airport. 1 hour drive. Arrive to the Hotel everything is good. Walk in the place is huge! Kitchen, dining room and Living room! Only negatives is, for foreigners the tap water is dirty and there are no bottled water in the room. No room service (So no food delivered to the room. So I had to walk 10-15 minutes along the highway just to grab water. Next day, wanted to eat around Noon. So I walked to their restaurant sat for 10 minutes to ask a lady are they serving food, she shook her head no. She didn't understand english. (Understandable) So I walked to the front desk and asked if the restaurant was serving food. he replied yes. I told him what just happened and he did nothing to help me out. By this time, I was just fed up with the customer service. They don't go above and beyond for the customers. Also all the fun is like a 10 minutes drive away, so be prepared to catch taxi's for just the simple things. Nice place but NO EFFORT put into it. I expected ALOT more for $80 and night.

This place is not really close from downtown, however it is easy to get from the airport to the hotel by bus, you can pay the bus in cash and stop like 800 mtrs away from the reception, if you can call they will go and pick you up in the bus stop. Also, you can take a bus from the closest bus stop to downtown for 12.50 mexican pesos. The people in this place is very nice, friendly, and super professional..they were always willing to help, answering our general questions, and even giving us tips about stores, addresses and general things. The condo was very comfy, it is fully equiped, with a/c, balcony and a nice pool. The wifi is not very good, but acceptable and they have no elevator, so be ready to take stairs. The prices are really ok!
I hope to go back to Los Cabos, and I wouldnt hesitate to stay with this people again!

The sun rock hotel was decent. The rooms were spacious, clean, had A/C and a small kitchen. The kitchen is very small and barley had enough cooking, plates, glasses for two people. We were able to cook breakfast every day but it was interesting. The location of the hotel is not great. It is at least a 15 min bus ride to Cabo or a $35 taxi ride. We were there for a wedding that was at the Cape so it worked perfect for us. The beach there is hard to enjoy unless you like to surf. The rip there is strong and there are large waves and reef. I would not suggest it for kids or even adults to swim. To sum it all up I would go there again if I had more people to split the cost of the room making it cheaper. If I was not there for a wedding I think it is to far away from the main part of town. Even if you wanted to be out of town a bit the beach is not great for hanging out and dangerous. There is not much near the hotel.

We booked the room for 3 days before we stayed at our place because the flight was cheaper if we arrived 3 days earlier.
I booked through expedia so that u could collect the travel points and this place had a sale.
It was larger then we anticipated which was awesome. The maids came by every day and did a great job.
However... the Wi-Fi... horrible. We were only able to get the bottom bar the entire stay which was frustrating. Not a single coffee filter provided and the hot plate that was provided was so small that it only heated half the pan.
Id rate it lower but I believe we only paid $45/night... you get what you pay for I guess.
