I was asked by the night attendant for my drivers license # and I gave it to him because it was late at night and we had been traveling all day. To tired to argue. The next morning I asked the day attendant about giving my drivers license # to the night before attendant and he stated that I should never been asked for it and I should have never given it to him! Super 8 needs to correct this situation at Button Willow!!! This problem occurred on Nov. 6th.

I had been on the road for many hours and needed a break, but wanted to get through LA before the morning traffic. I made it to Buttonwillow at 2 AM and headed right for the Super 8. The $49 on the sign seemed reasonable enough. I slept well for 6 hours. In the morning I took in the included breakfast, which was the usual fare, but it hit the spot. Now that it was daylight, I was surprised to see the establishment across the street advertising $39 rooms. I can't complain though, my stay at Super 8 was worth the $53 total (with tax and fees)

This place was far better than the hotel we had booked online for that night. They accommodated our late night room request with ease, and the amenities were an added bonus I never would have expected for the price. The only complaints I had were: Hot Tub is out of order (apparently it's an issue all along I-5) and the convenience of the freeway makes for a loud evening if your room is at the back and you're a light sleeper. Other than those two details that really can't be helped, this place was a great stop for us!

Overall good stay. I stopped to sleep while driving to northern California from southern California. The room was clean, it didn't have a funky smell and the fridge and AC worked perfectly. I'll keep it in mind the next time I need to stop on highway 5 for a night.

The front desk staff were very knowledgeable and helpful regarding services in the area and in the motel itself. The room was clean, and everything worked. Perhaps an update to the bedspreads would make the room feel more current.
