Reserved the room in advance. When we got there, just walking up the stairs told me this hotel didn't see much cleaning, as the stairs were covered in hair. It looked like they hadn't been vacuumed for at least several weeks. Our hotel room was mostly fine, but again, it looked like they did the bare minimum as far as cleaning goes. There were hairs behind the bathroom faucet, what looked to be urine stains on the toilet seat, and it looked like toilet bowl hadn't been cleaned in a while, as there was a light ring around it. The sheets had small stains on them, not sure what from. We opted to sleep on top of the bedding to be safe. The bed was very hard. The recliner in the room had certainly seen better days. It was stained pretty badly, but it did work.
The service was overall good. The people staying in the room next to us were playing music very loudly, and we had to call the front desk and ask them to tell them to quiet down, which they must have done because the music stopped, so that was really nice.
The breakfast was just okay. Biscuits and gravy (had to warm up yourself), waffle maker, cereal and milk, and little packaged cinnamon rolls.

1. we did not book online but walked in, so price was at least USD 25 more + tax. If you booked online ahead of your stay, it worth the value. They are one of the member of wyndham reward program.
2. we asked for senior discount, the clerk told us they do offer senior discount, but we did not get it.
3. dusty, we kept coughing and got congested the next morning.
4. breakfast offered is sufficient and convenient. Thank you!

Needed to stop and sleep for a while and pulling a boat on my trip home. It was a questionable area and plenty of suspicious cars and people around. Did not sleep well with the overall conditions. Pretty old facility and it shows. Bed had cigarette burns all over it, TV was tiny and really the entire place had an odor.

Had a great stay. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and very well kept. Had a great selection for breakfast. Little more expensive then other Super 8 Hotels I stayed at but it was worth it. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was not very knowledgeable about the Wyndham Rewards Program that their hotel offers. The price for having an animal in your room is way too high especially when the quality of the room is not very good to begin with. For my final night staying at the Super 8 in Columbus, NE...I signed a receipt for a lower price after breakfast and then later in the day, I get a call from the front desk telling me i was not charged the right amount and so he was going to charge my card another time to fix the first employees mistake. I never signed anything for a higher price and checking my bank statements I was first charged 4 times for 3 nights stay, then the next day the price I paid for the first day did not appear and there was only 3 charges then...the price I agreed to the 2nd day and then 2 charges of the same very high amount that I never agreed to on any days of my stay. And to top it off I did not receive any Wyndham points for the last 2 nights I stayed. I went to another hotel nearby and the quality and price and even the pet fee of $10 instead of $20 was much better than and cheaper than my stay at the Super 8.
