This is just a suggestion for the winter months. I was extremely cold in my room, although I turned the heat on it was not very powerful and the hot water temperature in the shower was not very hot at all. Maybe, if it is at all possible, for the housekeeping staff or any staff to turn on the heat for the rooms that will be occupied to help warm the rooms before the guest arrives that would solve one of the issues. Overall my staff was ok.

Booked my room 1 month in advance 3 days for downstairs and did not get the room. I stated that I had a hip problem when booking. Other guest for 1 nite got downstairs, they told me I can move to a room downstairs the next day. All stairs no elevator. Bummer never again Mold in the sink room 226

Where to start....price for a room was $25-35 more than my AAA book stated. Then while we were there we reserved the room for three days and asked that since we were up there hunting, if we could just extend as needed. We were told no problem. Extended for an extra three days, then when we went to extend three more days was flatly told no. You have to be out in the morning. If we were told ahead of time that there would be a problem we would have reserved for nine nights and if we left early, would have just asked for the balance. First few nights the rooms were immaculate, then little by little less and less done. No coffee, ice bucket not emptied etc... just the little things but noticeable. As we probably won't be in the area again for another four years, we'll be looking for another motel.
I was surprised to find a budget motel that was comfortable...

This was a decent stay overall. Hotels are at a premium in this area so beggars can't be choosers but it was good overall. Breakfast needs upgrading and check in staff needs substantial training on attention to detail with credit cards used to hold rooms and credit cards used to pay for rooms at check out. I had a difficult time getting my bill corrected as they overcharged my stay. They fixed it 6 days later. They also need more flexible cancellation policy for emergency responders protecting their communities.
