This stay was a pleasant one. Due to no rooms available in Houston due to Hurricane Harvey and this been the closest town to have rooms. The hotel was well prepared for the additional guest. Rooms were very cleaned and breakfast was good. The staff was excellent to take care of my needs.

I really really enjoyed my stay here. The room was huge!! The area was nice and quiet, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends!!

For being a SUPER 8, I wasn't expecting much! Boy, was I shocked and surprised!!!!!! I woke up too late for breakfast, but, there was still coffee! While they don't have emergency toiletries (toothbrush,toothpaste, comb, razor, etc), the suite style room more than made up for it!
For the price, I was amazed! I'll definitely be back!

The gentleman at the front desk was more than rude. He was refusing to honor our reservation even though we had paid online. Claiming he had no control over anything in the computer. Our discounts were not honored even though we were told they would be. And when we were able to finally get him to contact his boss he started speaking in a foreign language and just walked away from us. The room itself was decent a place to lay your head. The bed was very firm. The room was clean. That was a good thing as hotels in Huntsville are hard to find with clean rooms. The price was a little much. Continental breakfast was just cereal and a waffle . The cleanliness of the hotel in parking lot we're not very well kept. The parking lot was full of beer cans and bottles. As well as when we checked in at 11 p.m. there was a group of younger people drinking and partying in the pool. The gentleman from Guest Services was actually sitting at the pool patio drinking as well.

Smoke detector went off around 2am. Front desk didn't know what to do. Had me remove the battery and that didn't resolve the issue. Swimming pool was quite small.
