My husband and I travel often and stay at a lot of hotels, this hotel was the worst.
The room, which was supposed to be non-smoking reaked, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. I understand that Super 8 is not notorious for for their amenities but this was disgusting.
We were put in a room under the stairs spent 1 sleepless night listening to people going up and down. An employee of the hotel used the adjacent room, beginning at 4:30am as her personal bathroom. As we left we were made aware that there was a continental breakfast, which we missed.
When we checked out were told we would be refunded. That did not happen. We were charged for not one, but TWO nights! I called to clear this up and was informed that the manager would not be refunding any amount. My husband spoke to the manager, who was extremely rude and condescending, this man told my husband that if we were unsatisfied we should have said something sooner. Sooner than check out?
Our experience with this hotel has been the worst experience with the hospitality industry.
Do your self a favor and don't stay here.

Super 8 in Norfolk, NE was not a good place to stay. We experienced dirty mirrors ,flys, broken, missing parts of frame on air conditioner revealing filthy insulation and opened food in the freezer. We felt that maybe the room had not been cleaned at all. There are good Super 8 motels out there, but i doubt if we will be willing to try them again. A dirty motel leaves a bad impression for the city that it is serving. This was a great injustice to Norfolk, NE. This property needs lots of cleaning up and up dating.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. What made the stay average was some of the guests stood outside the door playing music until quite late. Also the door going outside did not have a closer on it and every time someone went through it there was a loud slam. Kept waking me. If you stay here be sure to ask for a room away from the entrance in the middle of the hotel.

When we stayed the room was tiny, there was dust caked on the bed frame, the bottom of the bathtub was cracked and held together with something, you could tell there was mold on the ceiling, the fan in the fan wasn't working either because there was dust caked on that as well, when I asked for conditioner they didn't have any, the orange juice was gross, the gravy was dark brown because it was to hot and was boiling. Also when I went to check out the front desk person was falling asleep in her chair. I wouldn't go back.

The bed cover was stained. The whole place stinks like cigarettes. I woke up in the morning with a horrible headache. Turns out this location has a bad reputation for being the worst motel in town. I should've asked somebody for booking a room. I did not eat breakfast there because I just wanted to leave. I went next-door to Perkins where I couldn't breathe easier.
