maureenab2017on 09/11/2017 18:15Staff were courteous, available and very helpful. The only slight disappointment was the free breakfast offered. I needed to add an additional night and was offered a great room at a discounted price. I have stayed there in the past and will be staying there in the future.

Watch out for bugs and smoke smell in rooms

We are campers so can handle minimal fluff but my hubby killed 2 roaches and one giant centipede. We had a non-smoking room but it strongly smelled of cigarette smoke! The continental breakfast didn't offer much so we skipped it. The office was very friendly and courteous though.
MUCH better than the Super 8 in Dublin, VA
969katherinegon 04/10/2017 18:29We initially made a reservation at the Super 8 in Dublin, VA - this was a big football weekend at Tech, so no "local" hotels were available. The Dublin, VA Super 8 stuck us in smoking room that was terribly dated, smelly... awful. We made an emergency reservation for the following night at the Super 8 in Salem - wow, what a difference. Updated, clean, friendly staff... surprised it's the same franchise!!
