The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was quite comfortable also. No objectionable noise either.

We always stay at this Super 8 Motel. As er always we have a wonderful restful nights sleep after travelling all day. This is our first stop on our way South. It has been a long day of travelling so going to a Motel that you know you will get a good nights sleep is assuring to be rested for the next days trails.

Motel was fine for the basics but was not good for traveling with a dog. The only pet rooms are on the second floor at the far end (I requested ground floor). We were traveling with a large old dog with bad legs. It was a long way to walk. In addition, a lightening strike knocked out the elevator so we could not get down stairs to go out. Fortunately I found a strong man (fellow traveler) in the lobby area who was willing to help me carry the dog down the stairs. It was a very stressful stay.

The hotel was all right and the staff was very good and attentive!
The rooms were noisy and we could hear people talking.
The next morning, the breakfast was slight and the coffee was cold.
The staff took care of the situation, but we left to go get breakfast somewhere else.

We needed to find an inexpensive place to spend the night on our way to Colorado. Found the Super 8 in Salina. For the price, it was fine. It served the purpose.
