A medieval feel

This hotel has a unique 400 years old structure turned into a small hotel, it gives a medieval feel when you step in.. we were there to just spend the night so couldn't cherish much of it ..
THE LOCATION is remote, it is situated at the end of the road on a foothill, (saying so there should be more visible signboards leading to the hotel) the view is beautiful.
*The area goes to sleep after 7 in the evening.
Recommend for anyone who would like to be far from the crowd n enjoy their own company
Great stay close to Firenze

With my wife, we've been there for 4 nights, in a quiet and nice place not too far away from Firenze. Very good hospitality and communication. The family was great and we felt appreciated as guests. Extraordinary views from this place, located on one of many many hills in the region. Thank you Nico and the Family ! See you next time !
Wonderful place to stay

For my 30th birthday I wanted to stay somewhere different to the standard summer beach holiday. I came across this hotel on a special offer by chance and fell in love with the description.
The room was the cheapest and was lovely - if you like rustic you will love the place. The restaurant serves good food and with a small menu, it's all cooked fresh.
The breakfast is typical continental - it's very nice but best of all the cappuccinos were freshly made by the staff.
The staff themselves were wonderful. Speaking fluent English, they will guide you on local things to do if you need their assistance. On our last day, we had to leave early before breakfast opened (8am) so they opened up early especially so that we could have something to eat before our drive back to Pisa airport. You don't get that everywhere! They are so friendly and really give the place that family feel.
Locally there isn't much to do so hire a car and explore the Chianti region. We loved Greve - you can wine taste at your own leisure and expense (no need for a fancy tour). The place was called Enoteca Falorni.
Overall a wonderful relaxing trip - I would love to go back over the summer.
Just a tip if your visiting September onwards - the days are warm but evening is cold. I was the only person to wear a skirt in the daytime! Everyone else had big coats and scarfs, but it really isn't that cold.
Excellent stop over

Small friendly family run hotel that takes care of all your comfort needs.
Absolutely no complaints regarding price & quality.
The restaurant food is quite good & serve a good local red wine.
The breakfast included was more than satisfactory.
Highly recommend!!
Will definitely be re booking again soon.
Gracious Small Hotel in Tuscany

We spent two lovely nights here during our tour of Italy. The hotel is is composed of several different buildings and is located in Tuscany, a very hilly and beautiful region.
Our room was the only sleeping room on the second floor of the main building which also houses the dining room and kitchen. It had cool tile floors and dark woods- greatly appreciated in the middle of July! We were very comfortable there.
The food was excellent! We even were treated to a chef's demonstration of the art of creating pasta and basil pesto.
The hotel had appetizers waiting for its guests each afternoon when we returned from touring. That gesture, a friendly staff, and a cool swimming pool made this one of our favorite hotels on our 3-week trip.
