Rooms are good but maintenance of rooms was very bad. There were multiple problems in the room which took rigorous followup and one day to get resolved. Cooperation of staff was also not so good. Location is very outskirt of mussorie and it is near kemptee fall. Stay only if you have no other options left in mall road and you have planned most of the time to spend at kemptee fall.
Meal provided was also average.
Overall a very average resort.

I was at Surbee Resort from 3-6 Oct 2017. My group of 111 Pax checked in @ 4Oct 2017. for 02 Nights. The First thing i want to say that there food was awesome and tasty during our stay.
Resort with Great View from rooms and from the restaurant also.. Its 06 Km before Kempty falls and Very close to Santura Devi Mandir and JW Mariott. The Staff in Kitchen and Service staff at Bar Counter were very helpful.
Service from housekeeping was slow. It was well informed but they were very casual in there works.
Overall Its Good Place to Stay. But don't expect Good and punctual Service.

nO doubt the view was very beautifull .... we have enjoyed , alot but few facilities were not good , food was also not upto the mark , need more improvement rest ol is good staff is also good and cooperative .

For the weekend of Holi we decided to have a short trip to Mussorrie. We were two families. Me, My wife and my sisters famiiy with one grown up kid.
We drove down to Mussoorie on 11th. There was heavy traffic in Dehradoon city so we reached late by 3-20 PM. We had booked 2"Suite" rooms at the resort through a online hotel booking website. (I don't know if I can name the website so i am leaving it at that).
Booking was confirmed. Check in was no problem at all. The property is easy to find. The rooms are in a form of cottage that are on different level which is approached by a central steps. Each Suite room is a double storey unit with lower unit having independent entry and a sit out balcony, and upper unit having entry from Upper area from rear. Room size are decent with one seating area, Bed area and a Big toilet with Dress area.
What is not good is the quality of fixtures either in toilet, lighting etc. In one room the toilet door wasn't lockable from inside. The light wasn't sufficient (Too dim). The toilet fixture was leaking. The holi weekend saw snowfall in mussoorie so it was very cold. One does get decent hot water, however one has to waste almost half a bucket of cold water before hot water could come from taps. Also after one use it took at last 30 mins for heating up.
The people are friendly however (Maybe because of very little occupancy) the food was not up to the mark. Many items listed in menu were unavailable. Also it took time to deliver the ordered food. Indian breakfast was nice.
They did provide heaters in the room which was great comfort.
All in all not a bad experience. Great property that needs professional handlers.
Small things like having foot mats outside toilet or dress area, providing daily change of toiletries, serving warm water in those terribly cold days. Also there is no direct line to hotel. All the numbers are of the owners who stays in Delhi. So if you are outside roaming in the hills and wish to order some meals in advance its not easy to call the hotel and do it.

I have booked two cottages in this hotel on New year for family and friends, as Goibibo has ranked it under 4 star category. Well I made a biggest mistake by trusting Goibibo, They have charged as equal as 5 star luxury hotels, but when I checked in I noticed even the rooms in Govt Guest house which cost to you around Rs 400-500/- are far better then these cottages. Some Cottages are OK type, but most of them are not maintained and smells like hell, Broken doors, dust in rooms. Few cottages are very near to the road so one can't even sleep properly due to noise of vehicles. Food was OK.
