It was my fifth visit to your hotel but every time I visited it became better. Starting from the airport, moin was Always there to pick me up with gentle smile. For last minute booking Ali was always helpful for accommodation & always tried to give my luckiest room no. 1906. Food was always good. I strongly recommend for business travelers

We stayed in room 1617 for one week between 27th October and 3rd November. The stay was very comfortable and rooms are much better than our previous stay. Buffett food in the main restaurant is good quality and their is vast variety of selection.
The hotel location is also great as it’s in centre of the city.
Couple of areas where the hotel can improve: 1) House keeping service was good but tea, coffee, water, bathroom amenities were not always replenished and 2) the hotel has no cafe which means there is no place to relax and have coffee except for the main restaurant
Overall we had a great stay and are planning our next stay in February

Very nice atmosphere and special thanks to Prarthan for being extremely helpful in all the way, Food quality was excellent, courteous hotel staff . overall a good service from the entire team, which makes it a good place to be there. Railway station is very near best wine shop and cake shop i would rate 5 star hotel for this
In comparison to other chain hotels Accor hotels maintained that standard as feel welcome to the guests.

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for 7 days with my two boys in October 2017 and the hotel team took great care of us. The wonderful staff at the Azure restaurant made sure that every request of my two boys was fulfilled and they got to eat really delicious food over 7 days. The rooms were nice and big and housekeeping staff was prompt and diligent. Special thanks to Nilesh, Sandeep, Riddhi, Yashashree, Shekhar and Shailesh at the Hotel for making this stay a memorable experience. Boys also enjoyed swimming and playing in the lobby area. Strongly recommend this great hotel !

I picked this hotel based on the reviews and a deal on this site and would have been perfectly happy with the comforts the hotel had promised. But what I was totally unprepared for the amazing levels of service at the Surya Palace (btw no cab or rickshaw in Vadodara calls it Grand Mercure :-))
There were several instances of extraordinary service, but here's one that floored me.
After our first night at the hotel, we reached the hotel restaurant a good 15 minutes after the breakfast buffet had closed. But the restaurant manager welcomed us in and even as we started saying that we would be perfectly happy ordering a la carte, the staff started putting fresh serving spoons back into the food. The chef at the dosa counter fired his griddle and asked us if we had dosa requests. Someone even apologised that the chutney was almost finished and offered to get some more. In minutes, the huge buffet table was in action again... for two guests in an otherwise empty restaurant.
I was overwhelmed and apologetic (we had come in late after all) but the manager said that it was important that we enjoy our breakfast.
Btw, did I mention that the breakfast was complimentary?
