Expected better from a Marriott Hotel
imran478on 16/11/2017 12:02Stayed here a few times on recent business trips to Swansea. Having stayed at many other Marriott hotels in the past this one was a bit of a let down. Rooms are basic and the bathrooms need refurbishment, there is no executive lounge, breakfast variety and quality was poor and the gym was of a very low standard with hardly any equipment. Most of the staff were pleasant and friendly. Plenty of parking available onsite which was good. I would stay at this hotel again because it is still better than other nearby hotels which I have also experienced.
I would recommend this hotel.
bladeriderWales-UKon 14/11/2017 08:49The pool was good, just the right temperature, and the facility was made better by separating the mothers and babies group into one half of the pool so that the serious swimmers could train in the other half. Well done.
The gym was far too small although the equipment was quite good. A separate facility should be seriously thought about in any future development.
Average, expected better from a Marriot brand name

Facilities like gym / sauna inadequate .
Location ,staff and Breakfast was good.
Did not see any bottles of water kept in the room as standard.

Manor40on 12/11/2017 15:24A very nice hotel with helpful staff, excellent facilities and convenient for the town centre. Located right on the coast of Swansea Bay, views and local walks are stunning. We only ate breakfast in but this was excellent with plenty of choice, fresh cooked food if you wanted a cooked breakfast and great service from the staff.
Pretty basic
ptf54on 10/11/2017 00:57Stayed here for the weekend because Morgan's was full. Room was perfectly functionable, bathroom very small, and badly in need of refurb.
Dining room at breakfast was not pleasant experience. Crowded, noisy, like a works canteen.
Wedding reception taking place, and guests milling about evening and at breakfast left a lot to be desired. Not a lot can be done about that I suppose.
Cheap and cheerful, not the best, but not the worst either.
