On a business trip, we stayed in this hotel for a fortnight...not a single complaint we have towards this hotel..awesome food even though i'm a pure vegetarian the hotel had enough options to feed me..staff is so friendly & helpful..always smiling & just there whenever you need help..the view from the rooms are amazing specially rooms facing the harbor front..it is in a central place where everything is nearby..laundry is very good. they are very meticulous..the housekeeping staff are just perfect..let me narrate an incident which we encountered during our stay, we had 3 rooms booked & in the check in counter one of the rooms that were allotted to us was preoccupied, the staff provided an upgrade as a compensation with multiple apologies & gave a regret letter with a soft toy, wine & chocolates. Quite touching. they have 2 cafes where breakfast is being served - Kopi Thiam & Cafe swiss. The check in & check out was very smooth. The only thing I can complain about is the slow elevators, but I think they are working on it. Next time when in Singapore this will definitely be the hotel. The staff is working round the clock. Rooms are huge very spacious. Do visit the Equinox (their top floor dining restaurant) to catch a glimpse of the Singapore skyline. The higher the rooms the better the views. Kudos to the staff keep up the good work & to the management!

From check in to check out it was a wonderful experience. The location was great. The staff were professional and friendly. Our room was clean and had a great view. We will stay here on our next trip to Singapore.

Been to Swissotel The Stamford Singapore a couple time, and always had a blast. This time I went to Swissotel with my wife. The reason I always choose Swissotel is because of the location, right above the subway station and also they have everything around the hotel. My wife were so happy since we almost can find everything without have to go far from the hotel. During our stay, the hotel some renovation, but it not bother us at all. We had a very nice room with a view of Marina Sandbay. The view become more amazing during night time. We love the breakfast menu, they have such a good choice of foods. For people who doest not want to get trouble finding a hotel near subway station, Swissotel The Stamford is your best choice, I believe after they finish with the renovation, the hotel will become more and more amazing. Cant wait to come back.

we love the location of the hotel and the proximity to orchard road. we stayed here a few times before and will again. the staff at the hotel are very professional and will go out of the way to help you , just ask. we had buffet breakfast every morning and I have to say after a few stays at the hotel the quality of the buffet has changed. smoked salmon was defrosted and soft, I had to ask for the soup to be warmed up each time as it was lukewarm.we also had seafood buffet dinner and the best part of that was the laksa soup.
the best part of the breakfast was the staff, especially young Darren he made sure we had everything the way we like it , very hot coffee just the way I like it and freshly squeezed juice with lots of ginger for my husband. Thank you Darren. also Paul was another staff member that went out of his way to give us a good service. we had the use of the executive level as well and it was great as we were able to bring our friends in after breakfast for a meeting.
conciarge staff were more then helpful with the local information and if they didn't know something they looked it up for us and explained as to how to get around the public transport. thank you to all the staff for a great service.

I've stayed here numerous times over the years with my last stay yesterday.
I am glad to hear that they are upgrading the rooms as they are very outdated, furniture and style wise. Lighting is quite poor in the rooms once the sun goes down and you loose all the natural light.
Despite all this the views from the room are just incredible especially if you have a marina bay sands room! The balcony is quite large for a hotel and even if you don't have the harbour view the city view is also quite nice and you can see quite far out as all the floors in this hotel are quite high.
Lots of extra amenities are included which is a nice change rather than just the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. See pics attached. A nice selection of TWG premium teas are also available in the room.
Room service was delicious and prompt. Even the collection of tray service was speedy, which was great. There are lots of restaurants very close to the hotel as there is a mall underground if you would rather eat out, including a 24 hour McDonald's at the bottom of the hotel
The spa (Willow Stream) is actually in the hotel next door - the Fairmont which is connected. At the moments the lifts are not working to connect you straight through so you must go down to the lobby and walk to the Fairmont lifts to access the spa. This is explained to you if you have a booking and it only adds a 5 min walk to your journey which is ok.
